From a male perspective point of view you just absolutely nailed it. I’m so glad you mentioned Plum Japonais, Japon Noir and Black Violet which are a dream and they really smell better on a man. I think Estée Lauder hates good fragrances, only way to explain why all the good TF fragrances are gone.

EL has been with Tom Ford since the beginning so they are indeed responsible for their amazing classics and best works like MB, JN, PJ, BR, IC, etc along with Toms creative directive work. The market has shifted significantly so what used to be the “classics” are no longer mass appealing so they are just putting our whatever sells and appeals to the masses. Which means that releases like soleil brulant, lost cherry, etc are what appeals to a younger demographic and what fattens up the bottom line. I do really wish they would re release the classics again

From the discontinued scents I've only smelled - TLI, OWI. London, Bois Marocain and Oud Minerale. The only one out of these that I'll buy is TLI - my god, what an addictive scent. You just can't stop sniffing. I also have a small decant of Oud Minerale. Nothing to write home about. Don't like OWI. No magic factor. (I do have OW, which is very nice, however, Carved Oud is better).

the most daring and challenging thing u did in this video is spraying all the TFs all over ur body LOL. Btw love italian cypress, shame it's axed now! My faves are tobacco oud, tobacco vanille, tuscan leather, grey vetiver edp, noir extreme edp, noir edp, old version of noir de noir.

You could have easily named the video THE BEST OF TOM FORD. It is so irritating when Tom Ford discontinues superior fragrances. I think Italian Cypress is his best and I was so fortunate to purchase a bottle of it at the Tom Ford boutique in London in November 2019. Another one that has been discontinued recently is Plum Japonais. I know it's not one of your top choices, but it was on my to purchase list. Smells like end-of-the year holidays to me. Decants will have to do for now. It would great if you would do a video on Fragrance du Bois. Lots of controversy with them right now, but I do like New York Fifth Avenue.

Tobacco oud intense and oud minerale are my babies 🥺😭😭😭 tobacco oud intense, TOI= it's very sweet and thick and lightly smoky, and I get castoerum, and idk to me it smells viscous as hell. And tobacco oud intense lasted on my skin for 24+hours it's insane. Oud minerale lasts like 8-12 hours lowkey haha thanks for the review! Also idk if you checked out amouage's meander and enclave yet but you should. It's really cool. Enclave I purchased and it's like an amber, suede dry minty fragrance check it out :)

@@scentmemories1047 yeah man, its probably a little overhyped, but I bought enclave, and honestly I'm not sure about sillage and projection on my skin. The tester they sprayed lasted forever on my wrist, so I could he slightly nose blinded 🤣 but its smooth as silk. Candied dry mint, reminiscent of chocolate mint candy, dry amber and saffiano leather together. It's like after the mint dies down, it's sort of like this whirlpool of smells. Like, some say its overly linear and or simple, but I'd argue that it has this sort of "olfactory effect" could be a rationalization, or not. I'm not sure. Definitely check it out. Meander people say smelled really sweet on my skin, but honestly, for myself it was addictive. But enclave I think is like more sexy and confident, meander is more meditative and for the self.. cheers!

Tuscan leather intense and tobacco oud intense are still available in south africa, i think some as well which you mentioned .

I have amber absolute reserve. It lasts long but it is a skinscent...the same goes with tobacco oud intense...the dont project as much. If somebody wants a room filler then tobacco vanille is the only tom ford option now... my TOI is a 2020 batch...I dont know if I have a reformulated version.

A friend of mine that has AA claims the same...that it doesn't project as the community claims. I have heard that reserve AA is like an edt version of the old AA. But I haven't smelled it yet
