Funny, Discord doesnt mess with my other games like it does Tarkov Ive had an issue for like 6 wipes now where sometimes it will randomly disconnect my mic/headphones from discord when entering into a raid and I have to go toggle the sound settings in discord to get things working again. Ive not had a single issue with any other game.

Turning off hardware acceleration fixed it for me. I however could not share my screen but my friends and I figured out we could use discord after making the acceleration changes and share our screens by choosing to share your entire screen instead of the application option. Hope this helps and works for everyone else.

Really happy to hear the achievement for marathon will still be available, I did it following the quest not realizing to go to labs and back to streets. I couldn't find the time to do it again yet.

From my experience, I didn't lose any current progress on tasks that I was on. I just lost all of my rep and it gave me the beginning tasks again for each trader. Unlucky for you lol

100% if I stream my game I crash, If I do not stream I can run endless raids. This happened after the most recent Discord update. My 5 man has tested this and it seems to be the case for all of us. Just an FYI. Thanks!

Do you guys have the GeForce experience overlay on too? Try turning that off. & make sure you’re in fullscreen instead of borderless. One of those two things fixed it for myself but I’m not sure which as I did them at the same time.

For the marathon quest if your having preparing for game issue and dropping out I got it done by selecting 1 server in list for the period your doing marathon Seems to be related when your xhanging regions and fall trough the priority list for marathon queue

Sonetine if yoy game crashes last resort try to sort out page file for google it and youll see they eft suggest 20gb pagefile

Deadlock has been having crashing issues with Discord overlay as well. buddy of mine had a problem connecting to Deadlock matches and just caused the lobby to be Safe to Leave because it was treated as an Abandon

Some of my collegues fixed with: using browser discord, some of them fixed with reinstall discord. For me fixed the hw acc and overlay off.

Turning off the discord overlay and hardware acceleration on both discord and browser of choice is what helped me from having my game freeze. I'm still able to stream it to friends ithrough discord just fine and haven't had any freezing since.

I don't know what to say, never had discord issues, always had overlay turned off, always had hardware accelration turned off, but always made sure discord ran as admin.

Don’t just turn off the overlay, close the Discord program completely, then open Tarkov.

I don't know if I'm the only one, but since the new update randomly, I'll have an issue where I get stuck in an eating or drinking animation, you can back out of the game reconnect do everything in the game but if you try to eat again, you'll get stuck in the animation

I got game freezing. Closing out discord didnt work. But closing out Blitz too did work. I also didnt lose progress on quests or anythjng. Was transferring a box over while watching your video and my heart stopped lol. Glad it didnt work for me

have you noticed anybody talking about compasses lately? every time ive opened my compass in the last few days my guy sticks his hand out for like 3 seconds and then puts it away. maeks the compass sound but no compass. i am playing on PVE and I dont use the discord overlay

Okay, so I was streaming Arena to some friends in a discord call yesterday and the same match crashed for me 3 times in a row. Then I turned off the stream, and it worked perfect for the rest of the evening. That's only my experience however

Jaegers Ambulance quest - Turned in quest and it's listed as completed. Didn't get any of the rewards or even a message from Jaeger. Any fix for that? Yes, I've created a ticket through the launcher but it usually takes weeks to get a response.

Had that happen to me, it went down .1 rep for 2 of my other traders as well, having to do all the quests I did for 2 days of playing. I kept my rewards so thats cool seeing as ill get 2 gpus fir for mechanic. Still a pain I have to do another 3 to 4 quests to get to the trader Level I was already. Some tasks did save so it just took the rep away

Another bug i found recently is that the double barrel is bugging my game. Every time i use it i get indefinitely stuck in the next animation(healing, eating/drinking/etc.)

An hour ago, I was playing and got a blue screen, and my PC restarted. I opened Tarkov, and when I entered a raid, it restarted again. I saw that Tarkov was updated... I tried other games, and I don’t have any problems.

I don’t have any issues in local raids in PVE but in scav raids they always freeze. Don’t even have discord running when it happens.

I do PvE as well and haven't had any freezes. For the past couple days though it would pop up an error box as I'm trading/selling items from my stash and forget the past couple transactions. Pretty much every 5 minutes or so. But that seemed to get better yesterday. Oh, and I did notice that I didn't get rep for completing a quest for skier that would've put me over the top for Lev 4, so there's that.

I had issues with tarkov and discord last wipe and had to use the discord public test client for a few weeks until the main one got updated.

I have had the Discord issue for months. When streaming on discord, game freeze and crash. other streaming software like obs works fine. After turning off the overlay and registered game option I was able to stream a couple of raids, then it started to crash again.

Tarkov is the only game that I've ever had issues with Discord. I've never had another game have issues with Discord.

I’m having a new issue only on woods. On every death I get a backend error and I am returned to the main menu no gear lost and no task progress saved. I am playing PvE and dying and keeping gear isn’t a huge issue but spending 30 minutes in raid to loose all progress like I never played is quite annoying.

If you do complete marathon pray you get the achievement when you're done. I did the quest, have the thicc weapons case, but the achievement was never given.

Not really a cop out, it's definitely a Discord issue. Whether it happens to one game only is entirely irrelevant, regardless of how hardware intensive are the other games you compare with. That's not a defining or even relevant factor. Especially when there is any kind of overlay involved, it's always going to be the fault of the application providing the overlay, since the overlay is what in general disrespects the window drawing that is expected by the OS. You are basically putting up a window on top of another window but leave it uninteractable. All sorts of shenanigens can happen when something else is the focus. Whether it's something specific Tarkov does that Discord didn't play nice is irrelevant, it's up to Discord to make sure there are no issues.

Issues started earlier for me as well, months ago. Also directly after a Discord update. It wasn't as bad, only bricked the Discord program, but it did happen frequently. Wrote Discord support what's up with that and they basically said 'Can't be, though luck' even though I even have 2 friends that could easily replicate the issue. Tarkov wasn't the only game Discord has had trouble with by the way. It also liked to brick itself when I was playing Siege for example. Ever since I've had the suspicion that Discord is a technical mess held together by duct tape.

I think the only way BSG can actually “fix” the loyalty issue is to just change traders to being level locked and not loyalty locked since they broke the game 2 weeks into wipe. Fix: change traders to level lock only for each trader level.

By the way ive been silent on this because it doesnt really matter but you start with less ref rep if you started the wipe on arena without making a tarkov character first. Or something like that. Im .1 behind all of my friends even though ive done every daily and im 1 ref quest ahead of them. Yet im still behind them on rep. I think the only thing different between us is that i started on arena because of queue time im unheard, 2 of them are unheard, and one is eod.

The Discord issue seems odd, I don't think I've experienced it with my group, except maybe my homie playing on a laptop with a 3050, and 16gbs of ram. I've had zero issues myself, I'm running a 3060 12gb, and 32gbs of ram. I wonder if it was a GPU overload, or if it was linked to other hardware limitations.

Does anyone know if the gun mastery is supposed to sync? All my guns from Arena are either high level 1 or level 2 in Tarkov under mastery, but in Arena for example the m4a1 is level 24. My other player skills and XP levels seem to be transferring over (when i send a single GP coin)

It’s discord IMO. I ran a factory and interchange with friend and I helped navigate him out of both uninjured after the glitch accrued and he couldn’t see but could move. Good team building exercise but frustrating too. We need discord for coms bad. Also we did turn off hardware acceleration it worked for a little.

My Tarkov only ever froze when I tried streaming on discord. I initially thought it was a VRAM issue, but i have 16gbs. Tarkov still uses 15.5 of them idk if that's normal.

Discord is ass. Everyone I play with has some type of problem with it. Myself I have to disconnect while "Loading Loot" and reconnect before it finishes, otherwise there's about a 70/75% chance my Discord will die without warning mid-raid, leaving me unable to communicate.

@@OmgItzOG yo, idk how to fix ur issue, but that seems very rare so try to reach BSG support via launcher or website, they can fix it for u (there were many similar bugs in alpha test, they can mess with ur account and make these quests reappear/fall back to COMPLETE stage again).

The marathon quests not coming to PvE is so incredibly stupid. I feel like i'm being punished for not playing the "correct" version of the game. Though I'm not too upset because I'll be perfectly able to play it however I want in SPT - whenever that updates.

I havent been able to play scav or pmc more than 2raids max of each because infinite bombartment of "server connection error" i have turned off and on my router, computer and re installed game. Fun game when u drop from wipe bc of not being able to play

I use discord on browser ( cant support overlay i think ) as it got way less bugs and dumb ui stuff and never got this issue so its probably just overlay issue indeed ( try to use it on browser and maybe that could be a fix for you guys i guess )

a solid work around for the issue happening when you stream the game in discord stream whatever screen discord is on not EFT itself. That fixed the issue for me!

Tarkov Freezing Issue Fix: If you Disable Discord and NVidia Overlay it fixes the Freezing issue in game! You can keep discord on and stream and watch streams like before.
