Fantastic work! Like all your work =) Quick question - What is the coat you apply after your spray painting layer and before your acrylic layer (just before the video hits 5 minutes)? Is it a medium of some sort? Or a mix of a medium and a grey tint? Would be definitely interested to know as it kind of smooths the colours into each other. Thanks so much! Looks like with all the flourecents it might not be too lightfast ...Its nice work but cant last too long..I dont think would buy one for just that reason.

can you paint directly over spray paint with oil paint? if so what spray paint do you recommend for this ??

Yes, you can, modern spray paint is just acrylic in a can, just oil out your painting first after the spray paint is dry. there are many brand on the market, Montana gold, or Montana black, MTN 94 is good paint, & belton, There are so many brands and prices now, just google graffiti/art spraypaint & you'll find many sites and local shops you can buy paint from.

Yes, Spray paint these days is just acrylic paint in a can. You can get so many effects with it, buy skinny & fat caps for better results than the stock caps you get with the paint/brand. Use freehand, blend colours, Heres Some Tips, spray at a 45 degree angle towards your colour your blending, rip up or cut shapes with paper or card to mask over areas you want to keep or to add effects, use bits of paper, like old magazine pages scruple them up or leave flat then stick them to wet paint then pull off the paper, lifting some of the wet paint, exposing the wet layors & dry colours underneath the canvas or panel giving texture at the same time, push wet paint about using an old credit card or a piece of card. get used to pressing soft or hard on the cap to adjust the amount of spraypaint coming out of the can, spray upside down for thin lines and paint splatter, throw grit or sand at the paint for added texture. I could go on, just use your imaganation as you go along. The effects are endless, you can paint acylic on top or oil paint, just oil out the painting before, as spray paint dries matt. Hope this helps.
