I went back and edited this set again, after realizing I had a generation 1 VHS transfer sent to me. It's now rendered 1080p instead of 480, and has some color correction done to it. (As opposed to just cranking the sharpness, which is what I did with the first upload. Also, the file I originally used, in comparison, is much worse quality.)
I figured I'd leave the original upload, but add this latest version as an unlisted link. The soundboard audio has been resynced, as well.

I'm beyond stoked to post this live "remaster." One of the greatest grind bands of all-time, at their peak, playing one of their most important shows. "The Inalienable Dreamless" record release. This night, the band raffled a special edition box set of "The Inalienable Dreamless", which is referenced throughout the video. It included an LP, CD, live DVD, and a Merzbow remix. After personally being obsessed w/ DxAx for a bit recently, and rewatching the original live upload countless times, I came across a really good audio recording (soundboard?) of this same show, via Soulseek, whilst randomly scouring the internet for any other live bootlegs of theirs. Shout-out to the user "oyml77" on there for sharing it. (Not sure if they're the actual recorder... but, either way, thanks again!)
So, after that... Knowing that someone, somewhere... must own a better quality video of this show. (VHS, DVD, ect.) The hunt for a copy was on, despite having basically no leads as to who the original taper is. Much thanks to Jon Chang himself, for taking the time to respond to my inquiry about this gig, seeming to think it was potentially the KZbin user: "KILLTHATCATofficial." Which, would make sense, because funny enough... Unbelievably, I found a still active torrent, from a 2008 russian music forum post, of all things... not only including this show, but also 3 more. The majority of them, have already been shared online, via said person's KZbin channel. So, if they did in fact video tape this: Thank you very much, for your efforts!

@@ttt9582 There was discussion of it a few years ago but Dave was against the idea. Ultimately, this was from a time over 20 years ago now. It ultimately isn't clear if we would be able to recapture the magic given the kinetic 120% effort required and that we are all in or approaching our 50's.

The time will be right for DA to grind again someday, everyone will be locked into the same frequency and it will be awesome. For the time being, no-one has anything to prove and I'm grateful for the No One Knows What the Dead Think album; it is fresh and vital and anything that a fan of your work with Rob could ask for.

Jon Chang is Without question my personal FAVORITE frontman in Grind. No bullshit. No ego. And has that fucking stage precense and INTENSITY man. Rob and Dave fucking rule too I struggle to think of anyone besides maybe "An Albatross" that takes grindcore to a MORE intense level than D.A.
