I haven't been a member of your channel however I really enjoy the content. If I could give ya just one suggestion it would be to keep it real. Somedays are better than others and you're human just like the rest of us. Seems like the hiatus for you is coming to an end and that's Kew. Do what you love and you'll love what you do! Oh and another thing, try and keep it boosted!!! God bless ya brotha.

Ive been a subscriber from almost day one and found you because of the PT cruiser content but as most sensible people who are interested in pt cruisers im interested in all cars, yes my love for cars may be classic mini's and pt cruisers first and foremost but any decent car content I'll watch and when a when you do post a video update on the GT I'll squeal like a little school girl with excitement as im doing pretty much the same thing over here in the uk. Do whatever makes you happy what ever that is,we're hear for the ride with you and we'll have your back as best we can 👍

I really appreciate that! I feel the same way, even though I don't keep up with other KZbinrs like I use to, when I did I enjoyed a wide variety of different car builds from various channels, despite my personal favorite vehicles. To each their own! I'm gonna squeal with excitement myself the day the PT GT drives again 🤣 it will always be my baby. Everyone's positive feedback really has me inspired to wrench away on it ASAP. Good luck with your PT build and thanks for the comment!

Ok awesome you’re back and I’m stoked! So let’s see. Feedback. Here’s my unedited thoughts after watching this video. 1- I’m excited about your shop and that you are doing so many cool things with your life and I’d love to see more about that stuff in the future. 2- I found your channel because of Pt Cruiser videos, and to be honest those are still my favorite as I am still doing plenty of work on my Cruiser, and your personality is a UNIQUE one for PT mechanics, I totally get you not wanting to do PT videos much now, and I think you should only do videos you want to do. BUT I LOVE Pt Cruiser videos. 🤷♂️ I watch all kinds of them. Checkout what Ginger Billy on KZbin did to his recently 😂 But yeah, any and every subject of Pt Cruiser videos are great to me. Even if it’s comedy, or less serious. You know, I crack up watching Matt’s Garage plowing snow in his Cruiser. Just plain fun. 3- I’m not sure if KZbin demonitizes you for cussing too much or something, but I’d much prefer you don’t blank the cuss words out. As natural as it is to say them it’s equally as unnatural to blank them out with silence or beeps. 4- I am HYPED you’re back, take in feedback but don’t let it control you. Make the videos that are fun to you and have fun making them, and most of the time everyone watching them will feel it. It’s a vibe thing. So make content that seems AWESOME to you that you would want to watch, and it will turn out as such. If you feel yourself not having fun take a pause and figure out how to fix that. Can’t wait to see what you do next bro!!! You’re one of my favorite car channels on KZbin. Till next time 🍻

Super appreciate your feedback! I wish I made it a little more clear in the video, but I still LOVE PT’s too and will always have a deep appreciation for them. Whether I continue buying and building others, I don’t know, as I have a lot of cars I want to work with… but my love for them will always live on through my crazy GT build!
@jimmycruiserr Жыл бұрын
And yes, I’ve looked into KZbin’s policy on the whole “cussing” thing and I will blank them accordingly, but I will probably never have to. They are much looser about it now than I anticipated! Thankfully, because I hate censorship so much 😭

I've always enjoyed your videos, content, and humble perspective. I've learned personally just film when it makes sense. Just do you, how things feel right in the moment/ if you have a plan or idea, do that too! Generally speaking forget a plan if it discourages you, all your videos are awesome. And people are all different. The way youtube has changed is basically folks that post often likely get seen and clicked on. Additionally, if you create content that might be useful for other people, some folks find those videos helpful. Anywho, however your future is I'll be around to view/ check out your videos. Glad you posted this video even! Take care of yourself man!

I'd like to see you do your thing dude. At the end of the day you need to do what makes you happy and you moving away from just the PT's and getting into the Eclipse and the Miata and showing you guys flipping cars to me is content I like to watch. Personally I think the more cars you get into the better. You've built your channel around car, you like working on and building cars. Just remember it's always better to grow and move forward than it is to go backwards.

Hey! There you are,bro. I was wondering what you been up to. Glad to see it was what I expected. I figured either moving along on the money side of things(man's gotta eat) or that you fell for shawty lol. Nothing wrong with either one BTW. I've seen since I watched the first video that you had the car bug and you knew the tech for making videos. You have helped 1000's of people fix their cars, literally! Don't ever forget that, you have made an influence in the hobby. KZbin is a finicky bitch. Seems like it's all metrics and algorithms. You have the editing talent. Your intros and music use and some camera shots are fire! It looks like you've hit the longest nail on the head. I hadn't really thought about it but sometimes it does seem like your trying to be more pumped and energetic than you really are. It does make a huge difference in the way you come across to some people. Please don't take this the wrong way, coming from someone who has 100's of hours of footage stored and never posted that I can't edit for shit and don't think I seem real on camera. I do however watch and analyze a shit ton of car channels. My favorite channels are real down to earth guys and gals. They just put it out there. The good the bad and the ugly. They're achievements and the failures. Some have great editing and some are shit, but I still watch because you start to feel like you know them. If you know what I'm saying. So in closing, just throw it down ,man. You got the editing down. Just be real and drop something the same time every time. Whether once a week, biweekly or monthly. Make the algorithm happy, if you still want to make a go of it. I know you can do it. You taught yourself all this shit the best way I know of. Trial and error. Either way there's still some of us OG PT GT gang that will still tune in. God bless.

@@jimmycruiserr you’re a good guy and very talented at what you do , It’s true you should follow your heart and do what you want to do as far as your videos go, that’s what I would do it’s supposed to be fun and don’t worry about how many videos you post that’s neither here nor there, but I have watched you for a long time and I always enjoyed your early stuff. I’m not even a car person, but I still watch every video lol KZbin is a lot of work. I couldn’t do it. Having an editor and giving yourself the grace to not be “perfect” will probably help you a lot! Hope you can get the spark back and maybe make more chill videos. I’m sure a lot of people enjoy more relaxed videos. And hey, you can always keep overproducing the B reel clips, for fun! 😂
@jimmycruiserr Жыл бұрын
Thank you for the positive feedback and all the support over the years Maddy! It really puts me at ease knowing that people still enjoy more relaxed/less edited content. It gets to the point where too much editing and acting makes it feel like you're watching a children's show IMO 😭😂 there's gotta be a limit. But of course, I'll never be able to resist over-editing short 15 second b-reel clips haha. I should probably save that energy for making shorts and IG reels now 😂 Hope you and your family are doing well! Miss you all!

Been subscribed to your channel since you had very few followers. 🙂 I suspect much of the reduction in views, was because your channel was initially built around the PT and was your following, and it shifted to other types of vehicles. Just my two cents.

@JimmyCruiser_CGE Well, I would credit that to the fact that PT's are aging and the interest in them is fading, as well. Completely out of your control there. Reminds me a bit of PTeazer, and how active he used to be. Unfortunately, in a niche market, it can eventually fade, as the market fades.
