Dinnone seeing that alligator skin doesn't give y'all a clue that alligators might be lurking close by😮
@DionnesGlampingJourneyy26 күн бұрын
🤣 Yes it did and I was afraid. But the experienced ladies that I camped with said as long as you stay away from the bushes and the riverbank it would be fine. If I want to experience more remote places I will have to take a slight chance. 🙏🏾🤞🏾

Nice tour friend, TNX! Came across your tour while looking for camping fishing areas in S TX, near Houston. The Crispy Alligator skin is most likely Alligator Gar fish skin....One of those armored Fish (Head of a Gator body of a fish) found all over texas....I've caught some in the middle of downtown Houston and all over the rio grande valley. Im 90% sure its Gar skin. Hey fyi.. Quartzite AZ is poping off this time of year.

I love to get a preview of a campground or campsite before I go myself. Thank you so much for sharing this and it’s free!! The alligator 🐊 skin! Aaagh so fascinating actually.

You're so welcome! I'm currently at the WRTR in Arizona, a wild experience. I'm glad the preview was helpful! Another subscriber pointed out it was actually an alligator gar, a type of fish. Still fascinating, though! Nature always has something surprising to offer. Stay safe and enjoy your future adventures!

Hey Ms.Dionne, Louisianan here, the skin you found was actually an alligator GAR!! This is a type of fish that can be found in lake areas.

Alligators don't have any natural predators. I'd be wondering what happened to it and who did it
@DionnesGlampingJourneyy16 күн бұрын
I looked it up and you're right! Could have been prey of a other alligators, it could have been due to disease, injury, or even human hunting. It’s definitely interesting to think about what could have happened!
