This is absolutely AMAZING!! Thank you for making and sharing. I have been studying ancient egypt since grade school and up and through college, hoping to get there one day but I certainly feel as if I am there while watching this. Something you don't get in the average documentary and I have seen them all! Well done and much appreciated! It also helps when the individual making the film knows a bit about what they're talking about, you most definitely do!

This is a beautiful documentary and I love just how wonderfully you've executed the scenes and the information. It was so touching to see the part where your guide almost broke down in tears because he was so proud of how well you knew your Egyptian history. I'd like to think that all of us that have a great deal of interest in Ancient Kemetic culture, history, magick, etc (regardless of our current identity) have had a past life connection to Egypt. I certainly feel like I've lived a past life (or two) on the banks of the Nile as I've always been drawn to Egypt. Thanks so much for these beautiful documentaries and for sharing your love and knowledge with the rest of us! I'm excited to have discovered your channel just last night and I look forward to exploring the rest of your content!

What a fantastic documentary. I loved the museum tour, incredible information. Thank you. I've just started learning about ancient Egypt and find it very fascinating. The Pharaohs and queens were searching for eternal life. Whilst nothing is eternal from a science point of view, they achieved their goal! 5000 years on and they are still remembered. That's a monumental achievement. Subscibed and I will watch every video you have posted Curtis. Again thank you

I like what I've seen thus far. Can't wait to see more! I don't have a doctorate in Egyptology. But, I do have some knowledge on the subject. So, to try to answer one of your questions, "Ra" or "Re" can more or less be used interchangeably. There is no right or wrong way to pronounce it. If you take a look at some of the Pharaonic names, many titles end in "Re" (i.e. Seqenenre), while you also have titles w/ "Ra" included (i.e. Ramesses). For all we know, their actual names could have been pronounced as "Seqenenra" and "Remesses". Unfortunately, the majority of hieroglyphs have excluded the vowel sounds (i.e. Kamet = kmt). Therefore, we've had to rely on that which has been orally passed down throughout history as well as the Coptic Christian pronunciations (the Coptics tend to pronounce it as "Re"). With that said, it seems to be less of a regional thing and more based on preference. I've heard Americans use either pronunciation. I personally prefer "Ra", myself. : )

Yes agreed it is interesting. Same and the pharaohs had several names...
