Yours is a very unique, visual experience of Egyptology. I have been thoroughly enjoying your approach; many lesser known facts left out by others, but adding a lot of color and panache to the history we all already know. Very well done. You also have a great sense of personal style. Don't let the "haters" get you down. You have had more communications with world-class Egyptologists than anyone else I have seen; that in and of itself gives you loads of credibility. I look forward to more of your productions.

In a sea of silly theories about ancient Egypt, it is really nice to come across an academically credible series on the subject. This is the kind of stuff that people should be watching about ancient Egypt. I really enjoyed part 2. Curtis...you are a class act dude, peace to ya.

I have been watching your videos, including your tours in Berlin, for the past few days. What an absolute delight! I enjoy Dr Fletcher's videos and bought her book, 'The Story of Egypt,' in an effort to get past my high school knowledge of Egypt. I think you have her same passion and ability to tell Egypt's story so everyone can understand, but in your own way. Your enthusiasm is contagious and I admire your respect for the history and culture.

This was excellent, Curtis! I found some of your personal options very interesting. I had never heard the theory that Davis might have removed the face from KV 55 to help pay for the excavation. The guy who does the replicas does fabulous work and I agree that you do look like the guy on the wall in the tomb…scary resemblance! 👍

I'm loving your documentaries ... having visited KING TUTANKHAMUN 'S ROOM MYSELF & BEING IN AWE OF HIM I WAS GLAD TO SEE YOU GOT A PICTURE WITH THE MASK BUT I FEEL ITS SO UPSETTING THAT SOME ARE GRANTED PERMISSION WHILE EVERYONE ELSE IS FORBIDDEN 🚫... I HAVE SPENT MY LIFE STUDING EGYPTIAN HISTORY & FASCINATED BY 18TH DYNASTY & WRONGLY FORBIDDEN TO TAKE A PICTURE AS A REMINDER OF THE MOMENT I FULLFILLED A LIFE LONG DREAM

Hi, Curtis. I agree with you that Thuya and Yuya may have been from a Mediterranean country. I really believe that Queen Tiye's parents were from Tunisia. They look very much like the Amazigh Berbers, who were expert horsemen and traders in beautiful Arabians of The Hamza (the five best groups of Arabian horses). Queen Tiye's father - who lived in Akhmim, I believe it was - started out as a horse trader, then was promoted to The Keeper of the Royal Horses and his expertise and beautiful horses may have been how he moved up and found favor with the Royals. He may have even included his daughter into their business relationship. And when the young Co-Regent Amenhotep III saw the beauty trying out one of the horses, he may have been quite smitten by her spirit. With Queen Tiye's background, I'm quite certain that she could ride very well, which was probably quite impressive to Amenhotep.
