Fetes were forgotten by the devs too. To replace the end game crafting and gathering hub in Endwalker we got....nothing!

For the event where you carry a big stuffed moogle, once I finish I like to grab an extra one and bring it with me to the next area. Same for the last Fete with the gift boxes, but for that one you gotta carry it up on top of the canopy over the vendor NPCs and spin around a lot!

Fetes have the issue that the way they are announced to the player is a major annoyance with the text boxes appearing front and center on the screen with no way to turn them off. This is good if you want to do them to ensure you don't miss them, but doesn't help at all when you're just passing through or doing other quests in the Firmament. It's content that I didn't get around to doing yet, but will at least give it a go for the rewards. Thanks for the guide, will re-watch it once I start doing Fetes.

When I read the title, I just thought fates was misspelled. Never tried doing it, but I might try just to see what I get from presents. I’ve been putting off the firmament and crafting/ gathering stuff because I’m bad at managing my inventory.

From level 60 onward, crafting gets easier to level without having to worry about managing materials. Tribal quests (starting with Moogles in The Churning Mists) and Custom Deliveries (starting with Zhloe Aliapoh in Idyllshire) are fantastic ways to level quickly with zero fuss over inventory. Moogles are crafting only. Custom Deliveries are either crafting or gathering, and also reward a special currency called scrips that you can use to buy top-tier gear that is almost best-in-slot for the whole expansion and easily last you ten levels or more. I believe the crafting Job Quests from Stormblood and onward also stop making you worry about having specific materials, they just give you what you need.
