Frostgrave gives us 1 thing in particular that makes for a great experience: freedom! Make your own wizard (if you like), give him a story (if you want), let him experience adventures (or just roll dice) and even narrate them (if your opponent doesn't get tired of your voice ;)). Thanks, Joseph!

My son and I love playing Frostgrave. It has been fun finding a fun pastime to share with him. We like the short time needed to play and the freedom to build warbands as we like. Making the terrain and kit bashing together warbands adds a lot to the fun. Have a Happy New Year's Holiday!

I love McCullough’s games - I’m relatively new to the hobby, and it always baffles me when I see people obsessing over very strict rule sets. Frostgrave, and his other games, encourage you to pick the rules apart, and play with them as much as the game. They’re so fun! I’m currently playing a custom set of solo Legograve scenarios!

Love, love, love everything that I have played that's written by Mr. McCullough. Thank you guys for doing Frostgrave week. It's my new favorite game and I can't wait to try to get some friends to try it out when we're able to meet in-person again.

Frostgrave 1st ed was ground breaking. I was playing a ton of Infinity, and as a break a friend introduced me to Frostgrave and it was a wonderful break from the intensity of Infinity. But much more than that, it was fantasy wargaming on the classical and fun level, which for me, IS WARGAMING. 2nd ed looks to be excellent, and a game that I will introduce my children into, and begin their journey into such wonder of their own imagination. Forever young; games are bigger than what they first appear. The ability to play games and create imagination....where will it lead, those children of mine or other peoples children, may just end up creating the future of humanity, and that begins fundementally with seeing futures that are unbelievable. Its how we reacted the stars, where next....

I love Frostgrave... jumped in when it first came out and my friends resisted getting back into minis based games... so didn't get to play for long. At the beginning of this year I discovered a bunch of guys in my store who have a Frostgrave League and were about to launch a 2nd edition campaign... I was just going to join when Covid hit and everything shut down... I really hope that I can get into it next year. These videos are making me want to go out and buy the books... but I'll wait until after christmas. Cheers.

Have not played Frostgrave but I absolutely Love Rangers of Shadow Deep. It's such a well-designed game and actually pretty flexible. We've hacked it for Wild West as well as Fantasy skirmish gaming. Plus, my group prefers a more 'co-op' style of game rather than pvp.

I really, really, really do not want to get into another game (especially when I have so many games not painted as is) but there is something so immensely enticing about 'Frostgrave'. I'm a big fan of miniature games where I don't need 30+ models on the board. And the idea that I'm building the lore for my wizard instead of playing someone else's creation is so fun sounding.

I made it a point of letting everyone I know in the hobby know about this game. It single-handedly kept me in the hobby in my last hobby crisis when a certain Old World blew up and I was just "hobby homeless" for a while. Bought most of the books and ran most of the campaigns and was never as content with the money I paid for a hobby product as I was with this game.
