No food or plants are rare in Jamaica we are the only country with every plant that has something to eat.

Who said that 'we' are the only country that has every plant? That's not true. Most of Jamaica's fruits are adapted, meaning that they arrived on the island by a carrier, whether it be humans or animals or even the ocean. Which means, if it comes to Jamaica, then it has to come from somewhere else. If you go to places like central and south America, Costa Rica, Columbia or Rio grande Valley, to be exact, you will see fruits that you didn't even have a clue even existed. Not to mention taking a trip to South East Asia, that is where fruit heaven really is! India is the mango capital of the world, and you can't find more mangoes in any one place than there. Jamaica happened to be a beautiful little island that a lot of people wanted to come to, and while people travel, they bring things that they like and plant them here, but what about the ones that nobody didn't bother to carry? If you want to guess what are the two most unique fruits to Jamaica, that would be pineapple and yellow dragon fruit! Yes dragon fruit, a fruit that was discovered in China only a few years ago, before being introduced to the rest of the world, is actually indigenous to central America and the Caribbean, including Jamaica. Pineapple is also indigenous to Jamaica and central America. Not even the great coconut Jamaica can't claim, because even though it arrived on the island hundreds of thousands of years, without human help, the journey it took the coconut for the Seychelles islands to colonize the tropical belt, is a very long one, and many other lands would have already have full coconut forests long before the first dry coconut washed ashore in Jamaica.
