London Bridge- With the Shard towering over the skyline in recent years the area has arguably become a centre point of London, emphasised by the transformation in office space, retail and eating destinations. Borough Market which is a 2 minute walk from the station offers up a variety of cuisine as well as fresh fruit and vegetables. For me, a stroll along the Thames Embankment will always be the focal point of the area, with the warm summer breeze or frosty whispers of the winter wind upon my face.
