When I visited Puerto Rico last month, we took a trip to Patillas to visit a friend. We came from Rio Grande, and took the eastern coast route, which provides some great coastal scenery. On the way we found this restaurant called EL NUEVO HORIZANTE in Yabucoa, which had an absolutely incredible view. The kind of view that you feel in your stomach.

The problem is that Puerto Ricans have “normalized” chaos and corruption. They complain for a few days and move on to the next issue. In the long run nothing changes. And politicians know that all they have to do is wait for the situations to be forgotten.
