Expat here living in Thailand for 3+ years. I must admire how Chris is so respectful and kind towards Thai ppl and culture. Awesome! If you want to live here and really enjoy your time then that’s the attitude to have!

Couldn't agree more. There are some other You Tubers out there (from certain countries which will remain nameless) that have a lot to learn about that. So difficult to watch. Kudos to Chris. Definitely explains why he has so many Thai viewers, no doubt! I also appreciate that Hailee speaks a reasonable amount of Thai. Goes a long way with the folks in the markets and once again, legitimizes the channel.

Or Tor Kor market has by far the best selection of high quality fruit. It's worth going year-round, but if you go during peak fruit season (now), it's easy to load up on the best of every kind of fruit from all around Asia.
I'm not a "high society Thai", but my home is just down the road from Or Tor Kor market. Go there to the food court often for the best Pad Krapao Moo Kai Dao in the area. There's some good coffee shops there too. Super fresh produce with high prices to match though. Evidenced by lots of Benz's in the parking lot 😀 If you had walked out of the other end of the market, you would have come across the flower and gardening section loaded full with beautiful Orchids and other tropical flowers.

Good Afternoon Chris...I saw you the other day last week. I was on Sukhumvit having coffee at Margarita Storm early morning and I saw you coming out of a Soi and hail a cab. I was gonna give a yell but you were in discussions with the cab driver then you hopped in an scooted off. I have now officially moved to Bangkok. Just finished immigration and banking on Monday....I now need to discern my new area. I can catch the H20 taxi about 100 meters away from my condo though. Ital Thai pier......The boat taxi is an experience. I have missed a few stops because I am a lost farang...

I've been to Thailand. The countryside further afield is peaceful, beautiful scenery, smiling people, soft-spoken, very polite, slow-living, and delicious food to eat at all times. In Thailand, don't be afraid that you will starve. If you're friendly with them, you might even get a free meal. You can stay for free ha ha ha and you will love Thai people and Thailand.
Oh wow ! You found a food haven Lol !😍Incredible rich selection and you both are showing, its a cool delish food adventure in this spaceous Market ! Thanks a lot Chris, that`s def. worth to visit !👍😋🙏

Chris, the vendors that don’t have prices displayed will charge foreigners or those that don’t sound local higher price. I’m Thai from the US and was charged about 30% more than my Bangkok friend for the exact item. Thanks for a great video, love Hailee’s enthusiasm 🤩

That vegetable curry is called "Tepo" or "Gang Tepo" A morning glory coconut curry with sweet and sour taste (normally will have pork belly) This is food that originate in Central area but also popular in Southern part as well (with more spicy and thick soup) Not many thai curry recipe will use morning glory as main ingredient and "Tepo" is the best one. Aor tor kor market is a premium market for foreigner not local. Thats why they sell everything with premium price.

Some people here complain about Chris's new camera. Actually, many people don't know how bad iPhone will capture people's face. If you shoot a selfie video with iPhone's main camera and compare it with what you see in mirror, you will find iPhone's output is not good at all; It will emphasize everything by saturating and sharpening. Food shot with iPhone also does not look natural at all. This is why some experienced KZbinrs such as Mark Wiens don't use iPhone for his videos, but use a mirrorless camera.
