@ 3:05 I have been to the Villagio Mall, its right under that Olympic torch @ 2:35 with the pool on it that's high in the air, @ 3:54 on the right is the City Center Mall, its like 5 stories tall, Qatar is a very nice place to visit, went there in 2008, saw over 30 cranes with new building going up all around the City Center Mall.

I think its a shame that no one critizes the terrible working conditions of the migrants. The government of qatar exploits this people and no one protects them. Futhermore its a scandal that the further championship will be held there because soccer should be a sign for human rights and peace and not for dictators.

at the 3.05 minutes, it's the Villagio mall, and there is a walkway between this mall and The Torch Doha, our guest can use this walkway anytime to start their shopping.

Guests can use the Villaggio walkway, although to come back to the hotel again, you need a room key. It is only accessible for in-house guests, coming back from the mall.

I could not help noticing, that almost every comment under this video is positive. That makes me wonder, because it presents only those parts of the country that is meant for the upper class.The real problems of this country are hidden behind those videos that only show the great, astonishing aspects. You have to ask yourself how is such a city even possible? The fundament of this city is based on slavery and the disregard of the human rights and the roots of that history did not fade away till now. In this video I see a fassade, that is meant to trick people that does not know it better. It is a shame that those videos are the ones with the most attention

In contrast, for example, Venezuela too had huge earnings, from their oil exports, but most of that money got wasted away in corruption and poor economic policies. But of course, they do have bad things. They have issues with women's rights, and they are a monarchy. But they are also the most open minded Arab society, and that should be worth considering.

It's ridiculous how gullible many of you guys are, because you only care about how enjoyable and dissolute your abidance is going to be not rethinking Qatars socioeconomic attitude. Would it be amazing visiting this astonishing country? Of course it would be, but have you ever thought about why this video only shows a luxurious lifestyle not mentioning the lower-class? Because Qatar doesn't even take the poor and weak into account! Nepalese workers suffer under horrible working conditions, some even died. And neither the qatari nor the nepalese government took action to emend their situation! They even tried to hide those incidents! I do not intend to offend someone who likes visiting Qatar but I dare you to consider this facet while you're going to enjoy your stay in such an extravagant country!

No, it is not! At least not for women. Remember, it is a Muslim county and Sharia Law is the Law. And why go there in the first place? It's freaking hot, dry, full of people that will behead you if you dare to say something improper about Allah or Mohamed (Peace Be Upon Him, yes you have to add this every time you mention his holy name). Go to the Mojave desert instead.

The country is safe, but only if you are a man. The country is notoriously misogynic. Currently, there are female tourists in prison there whose crime was... being raped. So, do keep that in mind. Other than that: enjoy the luxury and the hospitality, the locals may despise you, but they love your money.
