The walking pace in the video filming is at just the right tempo, so it’s delightful to experience various sights such as squares, churches, and crafts! We heard that Cotignac is famous for its vineyard and olive groves. We did a little research and found that smaller homes in and around Cotignac start at around €275,000 and larger properties can be anywhere up to a few million euros. You can stay in a Troglodyte house from around €82 per night. Obviously this is approximate and depends on the season. Amazing! This is a great question. Cotignac is a rural French speaking village, although English speaking people do live in the area and you will often find that in bars and restaurants, the owners or servers will speak some English. We would always try our French and even if we do not quite get it correct, the French people will often take kindly and help you either with your French and also in English. Absolutely, they are so interesting. Originally the caves were where the villagers kept their animals, later developing into residences. it’s amazing to think that originally the river flowed over the cliff, and was later diverted around the town. Cotignac is such a beautiful place. Thanks for exploring with us ❤️
