France is home to many charming villages, each with its unique character, history, and culture. Some of the most beautiful villages in France include: Eguisheim - located in the Alsace region, known for its colorful half-timbered houses and narrow streets. Saint-Paul-de-Vence - a medieval village in the south of France, famous for its art galleries and picturesque surroundings. Gordes - a hilltop village in the Luberon region of Provence, known for its stunning views and well-preserved stone houses. Riquewihr - a medieval village in the Alsace region, surrounded by vineyards and known for its excellent wine and charming architecture. Annecy - a picturesque town in the French Alps, famous for its crystal-clear lake and stunning mountain scenery. Saint-Cirq-Lapopie - a village located in the Lot region of France, known for its steep cliffs, medieval architecture, and stunning views of the Lot River. These are just a few examples of the many beautiful villages that France has to offer. Each village has its own unique history, culture, and character, making them all worth a visit for anyone interested in experiencing the charm of rural France.

Loved this film. Finally, someone who focuses on the subject and not on talking and putting sound over the film and other things that spoil the nature of the place and culture. I loved hearing people speak in the background, staff in shops going about their day, the birds and the sound of the wind. BestI visited St Paul de Vance last year but could not explore as much. Was a bit of a trance watching and I am sure will watch again, to relax!

👋Hi there, i'm a new subscriber here. I've been following you for a few days now & have found your videos/filming to be superb! I also love the places/regions that you choose to film. You've got good taste. I've watched a few of your French villages videos & i must say, that France is such a stunningly beautiful country, possessing some of Europe's most gorgeous wee villages/towns. Saint Paul de Vence is very pretty & beautiful & so worth a visit. I love the sounds of the birds chirping. I also note that the weather across France during most of your filming, was nice & dry, sunny & beautiful. They're more so blessed with great weather in France & in Italy, as they're farther South, specifically, Southern France, albeit, fires can also be a real nuisance, most sadly & unfort. IMPO, although to date, Paris is still the most visited city in Europe (& for obviously good reason), the rest of France however, i still just as note worthy, but yet, still not known too well by many abroad & all these amazing regions, are still quite underrated & really shouldn't be. Most new visitors to France, will only ever fly to Paris for a week or two & never get to see the rest of this country's stunning landscape & towns/villages, etc;. France is very beautiful, almost everywhere & it's landscapes are so varied, from the very hilly regions, to the tallest, snow covered Mont Blanc, to the beautiful coastline along the French Riviera & of course, all the stunning Chateau's abound, the incredible cathedrals & churches abound, to the prettiest wee villages from North to South, East & West. Normandy, Brittany, Burgundy, Alsace & Bordeaux are stunning & visiting Mont Saint Michel & Versailles, were two of the true & stunning highlights for me, but of course, there were many places/regions right across France, that simply blew my family & i & our travelling companions minds. For me, the highlights of France are it's proud peoples, who so often cop a nasty wrap by many abroad, yet in truth, are very polite & hospitable (for the most part) & are not truly as many have painted them to be sadly. I also love their rich culture, their superb food/cuisine, which is so varied across the country, but almost always very good & of great quality, the incredibly rich history, the wonderful & beautiful architecture, the beautiful buildings & houses abound, the lovely art work abound, the beautiful wee historic & cobblestone streets, walk ways, shops, cafes, etc;. Overall, France is pure delight & an exciting travel destination, so much so for us, that we're flying there again this coming November. I could write so much more regarding France, as it's so deserving, but i won't. All of the French and Italian people we have met have been wonderful, friendly and very patient with our pronunciation of the language. We always try our best to speak a native language, as is respectful, although we often find they actually want to practice their English on us 😆 The places are so beautiful, the cleanliness of the villages and towns is inspiring, and they certainly know how to present them at their best. We love visiting the more remote places and although they can get very busy during the peak summer months, you can find times when visiting can be quieter. The rich history, much of it dating back to medieval times, is so interesting and there is a lot you can learn, which makes every location special. Hi fátima 👋🏻 it’s a good question. Several of the beautiful villages in France host an exhibition of art and sculptures from a named artist. We believe that this may change each year. This exhibition of bears and gorillas is by Michel Bassompierre. Our Mougins video also has an exhibition of sculptures around the village. Hi Sandra 👋🏻 that’s a tricky one, we were camping near Vence this year to visit some of the beautiful French Villages, we can highly recommend a beautiful campsite, which has a variety of accommodation or you can bring your own tent. Great friendly people, we highly recommend www.camping-domainedelabergerie.com/ The nearest city would probably be Nice. We hope you get a chance to visit. Thanks for your comment, have a great day.
