I am loving the sheer volume of historical sites found along your journey... living in Canada, “old” architecture is 200 years and there is precious little of it. In my ignorance, I never heard of Luigi Pirandello who I will now explore. It seemed such an irony to learn about the playwright who wrote of the masks we wear from Sara who was wearing a mask while she was telling me about this great man who I never had heard of before. How weird and wonderful is that? To see the ancient huge olive trees and The Valley of the Temples and Scala dei Turchi for the first time was extraordinary! Beautiful. So good guys. Ok so the statue to me looks like an AT-AT from starwars. (My son has worked at Lucasarts so we do notice that stuff alot) I especially loved the thousand year old olive trees, twisting trunks so amazing. Love the goats curly horns. Ive never seen one of those . Temples were so cool and of course your drone footage most excellent. I loved the white rock and clear blue water...gorgeous. I don't understand why some people destroy these things. Im so glad it is all preserved. Yes Luca as everyone has said, its easy to tell you and your mom have a beautiful resemblance to each other. I got to hang out at Scala dei Turchi in July of 2013 when it was still accessible. Sad to know that people did not respect the beauty but better to close it to keep it away from human erosion. Lovely vlogs ... thank you.

Loved everything about this video. The ruins, the beautiful white cliffs and the history and writings of your inspiration Sara. It's interesting how he stated that no one is real almost sounds as if he suffered from Depersonalization which is a symptom of Temporal Lobe epilepsy. Many artists, especially writers are suspected of having this type of seizure disorder, undiagnosed. It doesn't present with your typical grand mal seizures, only partial and complex partial seizures originating from the temporal lobes of the brain. Yes, I heard about the demonstrations in Italy just yesterday and was concerned for you and your families. It blessed me to hear that you are staying safe and well. I few years back we visited the island of Sicilia and I fell in love with it, unfortunately we did not have the time to explore the south coast that is shown in the video, we just did from Giardini-Naxos as a base on the east side visits to Catania, Taormina, Etna, etc (where part of my family is from, (the Ursino family) and then the north side, staying in beautiful Cefalu. This area that you explored this time is in our wish list, hope to be able to go soon. Thank you for the video.

The Valley of the Temples is one of those must see places. The view of those majestic temples on the hills was incredible, very moving.
