Great video! I actually got to spend an hour there in lovely Simcoe. I also ate Pizza at that Barrel Restaurant as well. I loved it! For Italian Foods in general! I find most Pizzas quite tasty. My main purpose for going there was because my All-Time Hero from the NHL was born there. And I idolized him enough to want to visit that town myself. And I was happy I did. There were some places I missed going to though! And the downtown area with those shops you took us to on this video was one of them. The other was a place I just heard of a year or so ago for Sports Lovers. Boyko Sporting Goods. If I ever go back there for at least an hour visit. I will no doubt need to add those in for places to go as well.

Can foreigners invest in simcoe? International student?
@walkermortgages11 ай бұрын
Foreigners, including international students, can invest in real estate in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada, as there are no federal restrictions preventing non-Canadians from buying property in Canada. However, there are a few important points to consider: Provincial Regulations: While the federal government of Canada does not impose restrictions, certain provinces have specific rules and taxes for foreign buyers. In Ontario, there is a 15% Non-Resident Speculation Tax (NRST) on the purchase of residential properties in the Greater Golden Horseshoe Region, which includes parts of the Simcoe County. This tax applies to foreign nationals, foreign corporations, and taxable trustees buying residential properties containing one to six units. Financing and Mortgages: Getting a mortgage as a non-resident can be more challenging. Canadian banks may require a larger down payment (typically around 35% of the purchase price) and may have higher interest rates for non-residents. Tax Considerations: As a non-resident, you'll be subject to certain tax implications. If you rent out the property, you'll need to pay income tax on the rental income. Additionally, when you sell the property, you may be subject to capital gains tax. Legal Advice: It's highly recommended to seek legal advice from a real estate lawyer who has experience with non-resident property transactions in Ontario. They can guide you through the process and ensure you meet all legal requirements. Studying as an International Student: If you're an international student, investing in real estate could have implications for your student status, so it's also wise to consult with your educational institution's international students' office. Insurance and Maintenance: Owning property comes with responsibilities like property insurance, maintenance, and understanding tenant laws if you plan to rent the property. Before making any decisions, it's important to do thorough research and consult with real estate, legal, and financial professionals to understand all the implications of investing in real estate in Simcoe as a foreigner or international student.

Simcoe used to be a great small town. But the downtown is being ruined by all of the drug addicts.
