Man, I wish that Tinker Hairdo would come back in style. Killer image!

Tinker strikes me as a guy who was like, I'm not following the hairstyle trends of the time.

Great topic Sammy!! It is neat to explore this awesome era of baseball with some of the all time greats!! Chief Bender was born in Brainerd, Minnesota which is 30 miles north of where I live!! Always enjoy and appreciate your interesting content!!

Bender was incredible! An absolute legend!

Good stuff Sammy! I’m still learning pre war, so I really appreciate the topic. All the players you mentioned seem like no brainer at that price.

Happy to help Joe. Not that I'm an expert, but I'm happy to offer any advice I can.

Great video brother! I love this topic. I hear from so many reasons that they stay away from prewar. One of the reasons is price and this just shows people that it can be affordable.
@SammyThunder5 күн бұрын
Thanks Jason. They're definitely really good prices out there. Just have to be patient.

Great video Sammy love stuff like this maybe in the future you could expand sets like you could do some T205's next.
@SammyThunder5 күн бұрын
I'll certainly look into that set. I may jump around a bit, but I know how popular of a set it is.

Never thought I could afford a T206. Thank you for the input.

Awesome video, Sammy! This is exactly what folks need to know. There are a ton of T206 HOF cards between $100 and $200. Great stuff!
@SammyThunder5 күн бұрын
Without a doubt. I think the T206 set can be misunderstood as too expensive.

Thanks for this Sammy. The Eddie Collins with a deep blood red background is amazing and certainly on my wish list.

Good timing. I mentioned and commented the other day if you, could start back up the $100 dollar cards series. This is close. But some great cards. Interesting seeing players I'm not too familiar with, but I am sure they have interesting stories.

I'll get around to creating more content that focuses on what you're asking for.

Thx, Sammy. I had no idea that you could get T206 HoFers for $200ish. Cheers.

Some great T206 HOFers out there that aren't as crazy as people think! Don't tell them, I still have to buy most of mine haha!

The Eddie Collin’s portrait is one of my fav images. Although in William’s caramel, t213 etc it’s fantastic on the t206. Don’t own one

I had an Eddie Collins T206, but I've since sold mine to fund another purchase. It is a great card.

Applause for this video. I have ten T206 HOFers, graded Authentic up to 3.5, Hughie Jennings up to Cy Young. I think maybe four of the less famous names cost $200 or less, including Addie Joss. Another cool one is Jack Chesbro, who to this day holds the season record for wins: 41. When it comes to cards more than a century old, I am less demanding on condition. I will even take a crease, if it's not through the player's face. In fact, you pretty much must accept creases or wrinkles, or paper loss on the back, to get an affordable T206 HOFer.
@SammyThunder5 күн бұрын
Certainly! Everyone has their preferences. I think if you're okay with having a lower graded card of a great pre-war player, you can find some really great deals.
