Oh yea your right Trev , I'd better put those things on my list to go . 😂 . I am however a basic man , I can survive on a boiled egg , an endless coffee pot and sufficient power to service my photography obsession. Glad to see you make good progress on the way down today , we're watching with interest. We're still undecided where to stay in Barcelona , previously we stayed at Villanova and caught the bus in( about 40mins ) but that was pre poppy so we'd like to be closer. Agree on a physical map, much easier to route plan and get a sense of where you are. Pros and cons to external silvers but they keepsome of the cold out, reduce condensation and keep heat and light out in the summer. I’ve used a moka pot (which is what Helen is holding in the video) for coffee but they can be a pain to clean without coffee grounds going down the sink, similar issue with a cafetière ( aka French press). Tend to use filter papers in pour over (like a V60) now which is a bit more faff but the paper and coffee grounds go in the bin, no mess. Only for me as my wife is a weirdo who prefers instant.

I know what you mean about pros and cons , especially if your parked on an local Aire and want a drive away option. No instant coffee allowed in our house/van we're full on coffee addicts 😂. Thanks for watching , our best wishes to you both H and M

Good morning - Yes 5am it is , throw back to work days, in for 6.30am preparing for daily tasking it's just stuck. I love it in summer though more than the winter . H gets an extra hour, coffee in bad everyday at 6am , to the gym at 7am I know how to spoil a girl. 😂 . We're counting the days down now , really looking forward to travelling again. Totally agree with window Vac and our Karcher is brilliant on all windows and in the shower cubicle. Getting rid of condensation and moisture has become a mission of ours and when showering we have the Maxxfan pulling the air out of the bathroom and bedroom areas and works brilliantly. Love the 10 min videos. Karcher window vac is a game changer. However, as ‘nomadic lotus eaters’ from Yorkshire, I know better than to point out to my wife that she has ‘missed a bit’, as I imagine that Karcher’s would be difficult to remove from a southerly bodily orifice 😂

Good morning Tim and Martha. We're picking up our screen next week , I want them to fit the bonded rail but it should be good for us we do loose quite a lot of heat out of the big front windscreen on the Knaus. The bags are great we just checked ours and there was no moisture after a 4 week park up, so that was very reassuring . We tested them at home in the kitchen while steaming vegetables and they worked well , we needed reassurance they work after the nil result in the van. 😂. Hardcopy Map all the way for me. I used to carry every OS Map for Scotland but Lindsay has weaned me off that (She thinks). We do not use a vac we have a mit which soaks it all up.

We love maps , H reads them upside down as we go if necessary, it's old Nav thing , see likes to read the map in the direction we are travelling towards. Something to do with spacial awareness when navigating at low altitude and high speed. You properly understand better me I , especially as I rarely go about 50mph. Thanks for watching H and M

That's interesting , someone else recommended them to us. I rang them spoke to a guy who told me was busy and asked if i would email him with pictures and measurements which did , he never replied to that email , a chaser email or phone message left on the same number. So we went elsewhere , we're not people to judge harshly something went wrong somewhere. Glad your happy with yours .

Really useful video…keen to see your silver screen, we are thinking of changing to an A-Class so to see what you do for this will be useful. We have a silver screen for our autotrail, which easily attached on the the 2 cab doors, but obviously that’s not the same for an A-class Moho, thanks 😊

Yes, quite. I'm trying hard to not have Leica envy...it does look like an excellent camera for you. Very unobtrusive, compact and light weight for street and yet with that full frame image quality. I often use a much more basic 28mm Canon 2.8 lens for street and landscape with my 6D when I want a relatively lightweight all day carry. Really nice focal length. Enjoy!@@HelenandMartinsTreks

I was under the impression that Helen was ex military? The SWO/RSM or navel equivalent wouldn’t be happy with those windows 🤣😂🤣, we always use an exterior cover on our van and so far never had a condensation problem, maybe we’ve just been lucky. Thanks for the video, keep up your great work.
