i live 10 minutes from from that copperhead fire watch tower and little bear lake I wish ODNR would open up the many service access trail scattered through out the Shawnee area but the horse camps and horse trails take precedence over everything around here unfortunately. I hope one day with the growth of overlanding that they can open up these areas and trails to all.

A friend and I backpacked Shawnee back in the mid 90's. It was 4th of July weekend and it was HOT! We had 3 water sources in the ~20 mile loop. It was pretty brutal.

Sometimes we take our own backyards for granted. We just visited a similar fire tower in Hoosier National Forest. I'm afraid of heights and didn't climb it but regret not pushing myself, so it was nice to see the views from one in your video. Beautiful scenery!

Right in my backyard. Many if not most trails in Ohio are public roads through private property. Some owners will try to block you out, but usually if you're not a jerk they'll let you through. Best thing to do is take a trip with those who know the roads to make sure you're not wandering onto private.

Hello. Fan of your channel. I have a gladiator rubi with a smart cap too. I’m looking into the Ikamper 3.0 and I have a rhino rack pioneer platform for the cap. It’s 49”x60”. The footprint of the Ikamper is 80-85” I believe. I’ve come across an issue with mounting. The pioneer platform cross bars doesn’t line up with the Ikamper track. Would you recommend relocating the Ikamper track to sit flush on the pioneer platform or would you recommend aftermarket cross bars system on top of the pioneer platform? Things to consider are adding an awning like yours and exterior lighting on the pioneer platform. Regarding the foot print of the 3.0 Ikamper and the pioneer platform, is the unsupported difference of 25” give or take going to be a structural issue with people inside? With these factors I’m seeking your advise. Thanks in advance

Honestly, I'm not familiar with the Rhino rack system. I do know that your tent will work with the RSI cross bars and the front runner cross bars.

The Ipad is one that is Cellular and GPS enabled. It has its own data plan so it works the same as a phone without calling capabilities
