Beautiful campsite, Julie, Tony and Archie. The sign caught my eye that said "only 1 car per pitch." Don't people over there ever tow a car behind their RV? Lovely countryside. 10 times around the field, Tony? Archie is brighter than that! 🤣🤣Interesting about the guy with bare feet. When I was younger (in my early 20's) there was a university nearby. A guy from Africa (Kenya if I recall correctly) had earned a scholarship from it for his world class running ability's. (marathon) Won a silver Olympic medal, but he ran barefoot because of his upbringing in a rural African area. I would cringe every time I saw him run by, over rocks, debris and everything! Lovely explore here and we loved coming along.

Hi Dave and Kathy, yes the one car per pitch means if you have a Caravan you would tow it with a car and itf you had an RV and towed a car that would be ok on the pitch but, no more than one car. Ha ha i think you are right Archie doesn't intend on doing much running unless he really has too. 😀Thats interesting about the guy with world class running abilities running in bare feet, i think I would cringe too. Hello Andy, there is a village called Eye Kettleby just before you approach the campsite, it was an Anglo Saxon settlement and an archaeological site, where numerous items were found. Yes definitely a lovely campsite especially if you enjoy walking like Archie he he x Julie and Tony x

A lot of these digital check ins now must admit I like being met my a nice friendly face. Really nice spacious pitch and next time you try and book that pitch but you find it is already booked, you only have yourselves to blame lol. You were lucky with the weather and so many great walks around the site. I would be thinking of my dinner at 10.45 but fair play, judging by those empty plates that breakfast must have been real nice and what a wonderful setting too. Been thinking about an air fryer for a while now and my son has a Tower and swears by it as well. Cheers Alan

Hi Alan, yes I like speaking to someone really but there were so many people in front of us in caravans it was easier. We have booked for next year already but a different pitch same site but right opposite that little lake and it was as nice so we will see. Every time we go we find a better pitch ha ha. We’ve also booked a lodge with a hot tub there for next June with my daughter and granddaughter as it s my daughter’s birthday in June. Belle will love it. I think I’m addicted to booking trips away 🤣🤣. Yes we call it brunch when it’s a breakfast come lunch time. Ooh it was good Alan.
