I bought one 2 years ago from Amazon. It was called a flat snake link and was supposed to be solid .925 from a company called Danaski . I loved it it, was a 6mm and had a great weight. I paid $200. I had it tested at a local jewler and they said it was silver. After wearing it for 6 months as a daily the plating came off to reveal it was copper/ brass. I only now buy off reputable companies and not Amazon or ebay

Yes the same fake chain you got from Amazon is also being sold on other sites from other sellers. I will say it again, Luke Zion Jewelry is the only trusted vendor selling it in genuine 925 silver right now. Btw I would love to own one of these flat Cuban chains 🔥

IMO this is one of the best gender neutral chain designs ever. Both man and woman can wear this one with confidence. It’s not too big for the ladies, and not too small for the fellas. The 5mm flat Cuban chain has an aesthetic quality to it that accentuates the attractiveness and vibe of the wearer. It generates a type of mystique, in my opinion. 💚🔥🙏

Buyer Tip: I have been obsessed with this style of chain for over 1 year now, and I can attest that Luke Zion is the only vendor who sells it in genuine 925 Italian silver. What I’m saying is there are sellers on various platforms who market this specific design of chain fraudulently stamped as 925 when it is in fact silver plated mixed metals from China. So, right now the 5mm flat Cuban from LZJ is actually the largest size in real 925 available on the market. Shop Smart people 🙏

Dennis says the flat cuban isn’t for pendants. In all fairness you could wear a pendant with it because the chain is durable. However, depending on the heaviness of the pendant and the style of its bail, it may cause the chain to lift & twist sideways at the bottom. Some people wear pendants on cuban link chains this way, but I personally don’t like that type of look.

The only similarity this chain has to a herringbone is a flat sleek appearance. This chain is thicker than a herringbone and has more durability / mobility than a herringbone chain does. The links are bigger in size than that of a herringbone, and they are also rounded on the edges, not flat and rigid. This 5mm Cuban has more in common with a flat snake chain in regard to its mobility factor. Still somewhat of a delicate chain, but not at risk of kinking or damaging as easily as a herringbone would be.
