FINALLY! A jeweler who makes jump rings the right way: With a saw and not nippers. The ends just don’t sit flush if you cut them with nippers, and if the ends don’t meet they’ll solder with kinks in them instead of seamlessly.

Exactamente. Queda las puntas del alambre mordida por el alicate. Es mejor con sierra porque la separación es mínima. Y no con disco de corte en el torno tampoco.

That bracelet is gorgeous. Has anyone else asked if you could put a more secure latch? The reason I ask is because I can lose jewelry with no trouble whatsoever. Ha ha ha. So any real big beautiful bracelets I buy I asked my local jeweler to put a security chain on the bracelet. Does anybody ever ask you to do that? Also, do you have a store that we could shop from? I am a jeweller myself, I really like your work, this bracelet is a work of art. But I couldn't help but notice how little solder you use to solder the rings and how well it reflows, could you tell me the brand of flux you use, I would be very grateful! Because I have to use a lot of solder to be able to unscrew the products, otherwise the rings break all the time.

What kind of solder do you use? I take a class at my high school, and we use silver solder. I have always wanted to try tapping the solder on my piece, but they come in sheets so it’s not as easy. I know there are many kinds of solder, so I’d be open to trying something else! I try to stay away from lead solder if it’s something I’m going to wear though.

I always understood Pitch to be a naturally occurring tree resin. Super sticky stuff, holds good and tight when it cools down but easy to manipulate with a little heat. However.... after a quick google double check before inserting my foot in my mouth I came across this page with the best description and links to many further helpful links on the topic. Enjoy!🎉 en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaser%27s_pitch

You put way too much effort and time into your work to not put a much better looking clasp on it. The clasp literally makes a really really nice piece look like a temu piece. Take some time and learn an actual quality snap clasp. There’s so many kinds, this alone can multiply the value of your pieces.
