Very, very interesting .. I signed up, but was unable to access 23&Me or National Geographic files .. hmmm .. don't know what I did wrong .. I'm an old lady and surely need some help ..

You can definitely get your raw DNA file from 23&Me, but unfortunately I think the National Geographic service is defunct. Click on the "DNA Testing" tab at the top of the MyTrueAncestry site after you log-in, then click the "Download Instructions" link for 23&Me and it will take you to the link to the 23&Me site that explains how to get the file.
