In the past, people in Hallstatt started to take the bones and skulls out of the grave after a few years, bleach them and then sizing them up, the skulls were inscribed and artfully decorated. An impressive experience that you will not forget in you life

Great video, however you said 16th century houses on Marktplatz when they are actually 18th century as they were rebuilt after the fire of 1750. Also worth pointing out that Ramsau am Dachstein is quite far from Hallstatt and on the other side of the mountain range where as the Krippenstein area is actually close to Hallstatt
