1. Lakkidi View Point is a tourist destination often called the “Gateway of Wayanad.” It's known for its mesmerising bird's eye view of Wayanad.
2. En Ooru is a tribal heritage village at Pookode in Wayanad district which showcases the vibrant culture and tradition of tribal communities of the state.
3. Pookode Lake - The beautiful freshwater lake in Wayanad, Pookode Lake lies 15 kilometres from Kalpetta. Nestled between an evergreen forest and the Western Ghats.

Hello sir/mam, As I see u took the bandipur route to wayanad via sultan bateri. 2 years ago I visited kerala while returning from Kozhikode i visited wayanad....& Last day i visited a Most famous temple "Sree Thirunelli Mahavishnu Kshetram" for some rituals. After visiting the temple luckily I discovered a different or new route to Bengaluru. Route details-- Wayand --Mananthavady --Varadimoola--Kattikkulam--Bavali(Kerala/karanataka border)--mysuru--bengaluru i would like to recommend this route because of less traffic, Wider & Great roads ,rode side kabini river may be can camp there & also south of Nagarhole forest so, great view & u will see multiple Animals while driving. One you took this route you will never took sulatan bhateri route !

Kindly note - if you use Google Maps u can clearly see this route but when you put Google maps for direction Google map show you wrong or other routes so, Use Google maps but don't put it in directions mode...
