Played Starfield 100+ hours on launch and just now coming back to get ready for the DLC. I’m really enjoying my time in the game this time around doing all the content I missed first time. People complained about all the procedural generation but from day one I looked at the base game as the framework on which to hang future content, not the finished product. I always expected them to then create bespoke handcrafted set pieces to hang on it. Now I don't know if that was always the plan or if this is a response to criticism (I believe the former obv) but either way it's a very welcome decision.

The thing this video showed me is that I’m not going to my next NG+ before trying this the first time. I’ve got a one inch punch Varuun inflictor that I might need to keep handy for Shattered Space.

I started a NG+ a couple weeks ago, chose Serpents Embrace trait, did main quest, UC Vanguard quest, Andreja quest and married her, got all Va'ruun weapons, armor, and ships. All Va'ruun'd up for the DLC 😎

I think the experiment was that they were trying to gravity jump their entire planet judging by the size of the equipment to invade the United Colonies space and the Freestar collective

Story of my life there. 2000 hrs in starfield 1900 in the ship builder. I run Micro ship builds anymore just because of the trips through the Unity. Darkstar mods make that interesting finally.

What exactly are they being asked to do by The Great Serpent? Other than "Serve". I hope we find out. Because on its face it's all a little thin. At least right now.
