Art collection used to be considered a hobby for the rich, but more young Millennials and Gen Zs have been getting in on the art market in recent years. Celebrities like RM of BTS is well-known for his knowledge and fervor for art collection, with even ordinary people seeking out affordable artworks that suit their prefernces and investment outlook. Against this backdrop, ART OnO made its successful debut in April, catering to Millennial and Gen Z art collectors rather than focusing solely on rare and expensive artwork.
In this week’s edition of the Globalists, we sit down with ART OnO CEO Noh Jae-myung to learn more about his art fair from the eyes of art collectors and what the future potentially holds for Korea’s burgeoning art market.
[The Globalists]
