In this episode I am riding further south, trying to escape bad weather. From Trømso I am riding to Lofoten Islands. I don't manage to escape the rain entirely, but a small window of dry weather at Lofoten Islands is all that I need!

Good morning Noraly! Let's go! The Tromso Cathedral is notable since it is the only Norwegian cathedral made of wood. Built in 1861 with over 600 seats. It originally held about 984 seats.

I smiled at you celebrating 10k kilometers with Ronin on the side of the road. It looked like you got a tiny bit of sun in that moment, as well. And I gasped when the drone went up. Such beauty! This segment makes me think of some of the awesome engineering feats of this country and your country. The Netherlands is all about keeping the landmass above the ocean water. Norway is all about connecting land masses across the abundance of mountain and ocean inlet water. Special drone footage at the end - niiiice! Such stunning beauty through video. I can only imagine actually being there in it! Again, thank you so much for this. I really look forward to your local explorations...in the rain, I suppose. :D

If and when you come to Canada in the Atlantic provinces a Bridge (Locally called the fixed link) connects Nova Scotia to Prince Edward Island, Canada's smallest province. The Link is 12.9 kms (8 miles) long, has a fairly steep incline and has a turn in it, some say, so as not to be too boring for the motorists. Love the scenery of your videos and the history lessons. The mountains in Norway are not volcanically formed. The current contours emerged much closer to the present, through a tectonic uplift of all the continental shelves in the North Atlantic during the Paleogene and Neogene (that is, 60 million years ago). You are nice to follow through your travels and your happy way :)

Thanks so much Noraly for doing videos 3X a week. I look forward to seeing your adventures. While stationed in Germany during the mid 70’s, the wife and I took vacation and wanted to visit the upper part of Europe by car and camp. We traveled through Denmark and crossed by ferry to Sweden and spent 3 rainy days in Stockholm. We had planned to cross over to Norway and travel the coast back to the ferry, Denmark and Germany. However, when we left Stockholm, the wife got homesick for our 1 yr old daughter, so instead of Norway we went back to Germany. Still having vacation time left, we decided to travel to Italy and visit Pisa. We set up our tent, had supper and went to bed. During the night our daughter decided to cut teeth. Between her crying and the other campers yelling at us to keep her quite, we packed up and traveled to Garmish, Germany to the Armed Forces Recreation Area for the remainder of my vacation. Never got to tour Pisa, but were able to get our daughter some teething medication. All was quiet. After all these years, I still regret not visiting Norway while I was so close. Now in my early 70’s, I might plan a trip back to Norway, once all this Covid craziness ends. Thanks Noraly for showing me the places I missed. What a beautiful country.

Going to Norway was a good decision ! Weather there is allways a gamble this time of year, but im sure it will be a wonderful experience nonetheless. And even if i love Finland with all my heart, to be honest, biking in Norway is a 100 times better ♥

Driving in Finland is pretty boring unless you are obsessed of fir and pine. (my experience)

Thanks for giving me a tour of the country from which both my parents' families came. Norway is really stunning... this episode especially so. I know the fjords are famous for their beauty but I'd not experienced it before. I love what you've been doing the last few years. I'm rambling around your videos. Eventually I'll catch up with you...

There are some truly amazing places on this planet and the Lofoten Islands have to be right up there at the top of the list. Thank you for sharing

Well, well, well - an Itchy Boots virgin, thought id have a look. I'm a bit smitten - firstly the church thing ''here is a wooden church, its significant for... some reason.. I cant remember why'' brilliant!! TV shows are so super rehearsed and tightly edited I love how you keep the errors in your shows, its refreshing. Just like passing the hotel in Lofoten its what we all do to cut it would diminish it so thanks. Love your fire and passion for the landscapes and bikes! Keep doing what you are doing!

Hello Noraly! I just wanted to chime in to say I have been randomly watching your videos for some time now. Thank you for your adventurous spirit and positive attitude. It is inspirational! I love to see parts of the world through your lens that I may never get a chance to see in person. If you ever come to Ontario Canada, my wife and I would surely have a warm room for you to stay in Hamilton. Take care!

@@mphilipsen3077 sorry, joh, was te snel met antwoord sturen. Ik dacht dat je bedoelde om volgend jaar een stuk mee te rijden toen ik zag dat je antwoord gaf op de opmerking van Tom Winter. Excuus hoor!

Nice soothing music - the one with piano and strings. Especially romantic when filming in the rain. Beautiful scenery. Thanks.
