I went there, reported all the steps completed, but I can't find a way to submit my track. It seems you can only do so by becoming a Patreon member? It seems this challenge is only for members?

I think, something like the Helsinki Bus Station can be found in similar ways. I think, I've heard something like this in relation to something completely different. But this theory absolutely makes sense. It's the story of getting on your journey to go to your destination. If you don't come to your destination, maybe you sit in the wrong bus. When I go back to my beginnings, then I remember me listening to the radio when i was around 13. Yes, there was always music in my life before since my father was pationate about classical music and a trained singer and my mother was THE rock lady of my life. I've grown up with Tannhäuser and Springsteen. But then, there was this time when I started my own musical journey. There was this serious song about this young girl who ended up on the life support machine. I'm talking about "Blasphemous Rumours" by Depeche Mode. In the GDR, we were always a little late. And so, I experienced this song together with the song that brought me to my heroes OMD: "Shame" from 1987. Those two songs were the foundation. And then, there was this album "Electric Café" by Kraftwerk and a little later finally "Disintegration" by The Cure. And all this made my musical compass. During this time, I learnt to play drums, but switched later to keyboards and - tada - Amiga Computer. Me and my friend, we wanted to be the cool synthesizer boys and called ourselves "The Doctors of Philharmonic Frontiers". Yes, we made typical 90s Eurodance music, but always a spicy touch darker. Later, I continued myself until the stuff was broken and I could not replace it. During the Pandemic, I found my way back to music. And now, I can say: Yes, the 80s version of Depeche Mode, OMD, The Cure and Kraftwerk are still there in my music. Now, it is somehow EDM, but again a bit darker. I am sure, I won't make a living from my music. But I am happy with what I am doing. So, I guess, I took the right bus. Coming to your challenge: I will try it on my own. Maybe, I'll let you know when I am through. But this is nothing to become famous. I follow your channel for some time. And I've learnt some cool things. And this nice story to wrap up the challenge is great. Thank you for that.

I have found that as a musician, I often lack the ability to play the sound that I imagine. Part of producing my songs has been having the humility to know it's okay to ask for help. The collaborations I have done with other people have been very rewarding and a lot of fun! So I would encourage people out there to do that. If you do lack musical ability...and you don't play multiple instruments...or you don't play them that WELL, don't be afraid to ask others to help you!

Interesting... it feels similar to the "Imitation, Assimilation, and Innovation" idea in Jazz, and the "Shu-Ha-Ri" in Japanese martial arts (also used in software engineering). That's another great way to look at the same concept but in the context of discovering one's artistic identity.
