Those who grew up with dads, you are very blessed. Be grateful and thankful. I was adopted at 3 days old in a single parent adoption. I was raised by my adopted mom and my adopted aunt. Who also abused me. I have always been jealous of those with fathers. I never got to know what it is like to have a dad. I have struggled in my 28 year marriage because I was not taught how to be a wife. I am very thankful for my very patient, very loving Godly husband who has not given up on me as I continue to try and learn how to be a wife

Love this and sharing this with ladies in my Bible study. This confirms my new years resolution! Daily devotion/quiet time in the morning #1 and the other "resolutions " will fall into place, better wife, healthy eating, etc. Cultivating Holy Beauty also has wonderful resource that starts with and stresses this principle.
