Often when traveling, we can't help but compare what we see to what we know. For us, it has almost become an uncontrollable desire, and our visit to the Portuguese capital reminded us of that. Everywhere in the world, we can find similarities between countries; signs of the mixtures of past civilizations. Here, we still find traces of an empire that stretched from Persia to the Iberian Peninsula. What we discover in Lisbon makes us reflect on our shared histories.
