I live in the burbs and always wondered what these condos look like! Nice introduction to the downtown market.

For being a condo realtor this guy is sure impressed by security doors and fobs, elevators and places to set your keys.

You are quite observant. Thanks for noticing my wonder as it relates to building technologies. I've transitioned to all push button codes at my house and it floors me how the level of technology has evolved over the years. Do you have security doors where you live?

I like these videos that really show us what it actually looks like inside. is sexton only condo? no rentals? I do have to say though the view from sexton is kind of lousy. i love the loft bedroom with office underneath it - unique. omg - Carlisle is just beautiful. Neighborhood is stellar, clean and QUIET. why is the HOA in 1225 LaSalle so high?
@getitdundad
@getitdundad 4 ай бұрын
@dalestark9505 - Sexton is ownership with management to handle the rentals. Same with Carlisle.... There's one accross the street from sexton thats rental/private ownership blended. Do you want me to dig in deeper? @dalestark9505 Wanna tour a few with me??? Shoot me a text or call 7632214009

The HOA's on condos now is just ridiculous, let alone the nightmare owners in some places are going thru with surprise fees, et doesn't feel like you really own something under such conditions. When a HOA fee is as high as rent there is no incentive to buy unless just looking for an investment or tax write off. and that isn't helping the housing situation we're in for most people. Thanks for the video, though.
@getitdundad

@@LuckyCat_Trades from my perception it has seemingly got outta hand in quite a few places. The original reason for HOA’s was to lower costs, share expense, and downtown living has gotten quite a bit more pricey! Thanks so much for watching the video! Do you currently rent in minneapolis?

To add to that, you’re 100% correct about the owning piece. However, I may be able to shed a different perspective and show you some more affordable options over zoom/google meet. 76322-4009

Just because you pay the HOA fees, does not mean that the HOA will uphold rules fairly or at all or maintain the common areas or deal with problems in a timely manner. Dealing now with FSR HOA not addressing tenants who allow their dogs to urinate and defecate on the balcony. One of many ongoing problems.

@@user-px9nx9pc7k have you ever considered buying a traditional home? Sounds like to me that you’ve had a pretty rotten experience with HOA’s… I could assist in setting up a custom search and see what we could find in an area that works for you. Maybe getting perspective what your cost would be monthly owning a single family home might shed a different light on things… Would that be of interest?

parking is shit and getting worse , crime is worse then late 80's, also homeless issues are growing and last but not least check the hidden costs of condos in mpls and st.paul. I stopped doing service calls in both areas due to parking and theft. btw the old looking building with the green roof is the is the pokey and across the way will be the court house for all those parking tickets if you dont buy a parking space.

Thanks for being supportive of the channel My friend! Yur 100% spot on about the social environment in downtown... It has DEFINATELY changed alot since the 80's, and crime was high in the quick search that I did. I do have a counter arguement for you to consider. My overall personal experience of DT socially is that it's light years different and quite frankly ahead of the majority of sanctuary cities and liberal social political environments (which we are a pretty die hard in Minnesota in comparison) much further down the rabbit hole than us. My perception is that we have a pretty awesome downtown climate comparatively. Now, that doesnt speak to the bulls*** that youve encountered and that is pretty sucky that you've had such negative consequences for simply trying to support your customers in DT. What industry do you represent? As it relates to real estate is there any way that I can support you and your endeavors? Additionally, Thank you for caring about my accuracy and pointing out the missed details. When I'm back over there I will shoot some content and mention you in the video! Please feel free to snag some time in my calender to share anything additional that you believe would benefit folks that watch this and future videos!!! Merry Christmas and I wish a prosperous '25!!!!

@@user-px9nx9pc7k If you’d like I can send you a couple links that give public disclosure as it relates to crime rates and demographics, the location of temporary housing facilities. Because there’s some pretty specific and quite strict rules around what licensed professionals can provide for liability reasons (IMO), the info is drawn from actual stats for types or genre’s of crime. Crime rates and the attitudes around them are relegated to a perception. 1 person could think that 2 break ins per year is normal, while the next may think that’s not ok and make it mean that’s not an area for them. What is the be best email to send the links to? If you’d rather not share it on this platform, could you text me directly? 7632214009

@@getitdundad The TCs are dangerous even, in the daytime. I worked there. Security guards offer escorts to employees at certain businesses. Stats mean nothing if the input is skewed. A recent pistol-whipping of a couple during a carjacking, a rash of vicious armed robberies with the chief of MPD describing the events as "horrific." U of M female students being robbed , one having the gun jammed inside her mouth. It is not just crime, it is terrorizing efforts. Many meetings of U of M students and their parents with the U and city officials over the urgent need to lower the violence to students around campus. Open drug use outside the downtown visitor's center was reported in the news. As a professional you may not be able to share info. but a person can research on line from a variety of sources to get a picture of what is really going on. A welfare state is not a safe state. Decent people and businesses are moving out.

Bahahaha. "There's an exercise center, so you don't need a gym membership."...For $800K the exercise center better look a lot more like Lifetime Fitness and a lot less like the motel fitness center...You're hilarious. Honestly the photo of that fitness center lowers the value of that condo...It'd be better off without a gym.

There's a couple new projects that are a bit more reasonable, but it depends on the floor and the offered amenities. If its on the skyway, they do tend to be quite a bit more pricey on the monthly dues. When are you looking to lock down a condo? And is it between San Fran and Minneapolis/saint paul? 7632214009
