They were literally the breath of fresh air in 2nd gen music era. Yeah, she came in as a dancer, was even nicknamed "Little BoA". SM really did f(x) dirty. One of the strongest vocalists of second gen.

F(X) was the brain child of Min Hee-jin the creative director of New Jeans. I love F(X) they where a breath of fresh air during that time of kpop, espically Luna's vocals. Her vocals and the way she was trained has always impressed me the most, also f(X) album cuts are considered the best among all kpop albums. FX also has the best album in K-pop for the 2010s according to billboard with pink tape, which is a big win for them but it's actually one of the best and the way it was launched at the time, amazing. My personal favourite F(X) songs are ice cream, All night and rude love. Also there best friends with SHINee espically the 4walls album and View, both ahead of the curve with those albums.

Fun fact: Luna's currently starring in the Broadway musical "KPOP." It's in previews now and when I went she was amazing. She played a BoA-like character and it was all VERY meta (they used to call her mini BoA at SM). I looked around during one of her show-stopping high notes that just went on and onnnnn and saw people shaking their heads in disbelief because goddamn. And of course she danced like a demon. Our puppy Luna's come a long way [wipes a tear] Min from Miss A, BoHyung from SPICA, and Kevin from U-KISS are also in the show. 2nd gen idols making their Broadway debut

f(x) 😭 man I miss them, such a wasted potential.. F SM for wasting these girls. They were so ahead of their time, I always get bitter cos I always think about how if they're still active right now they'll be so popular cos kpop music these days are so similar to their music style. The one you were asking about in La Cha Ta is Luna also known as little boa, she got in SM for her dance skills but debuted as their main vocalist. f(x) is like red velvet they're very experimental with their concepts and music so their songs are either a hit or miss for most people. Also I love how you pointed out how they have so much confidence cos that's how they're regarded before as SNSD's fierce little sister cos they have a more bold and fierce concepts compared to SNSD who's their senior, and yeah they're called as SHINee's sister they did a lot of collabs like SNSD and Super Junior back in the day

Omg yesss f(x)!!!! Glad you enjoyed their songs. I'm not sure how much you've discovered since this is a reupload but here i go. I definitely recommend checking out fx pink tape art film its on smtown channel, it was like a teaser before their rum pum pum pum comeback - definitely unconventional. Fx have some hidden gem in their bsides you should listen to e.g. all night, signal, wish list (if you're ever planning to do a kpop xmas video let me tell u this song is the best kpop xmas song and i hate xmas songs), butterfly, etc. Also, since you enjoyed their choreo, i suggest checking out 4walls choreo its so good. The name confusion for the 2nd song is because originally the song was titled Danger, but they also have a song titled Dangerous that is quite different, so to lessen confusion on which song they meant people started referring to Danger as Pinnochio. So when they repackaged the album they officially dubbed it Danger (Pinnochio) & sometimes fans or unofficial stuff will write it as Pinnochio (Danger).

Each individual rooms in La Cha Ta was themed for the member in it - flame for Amber/Ember, crystals for Krystal, and the moon for Luna. I don't know how the stuffed bears connect to Sulli, me not being Korean, nor the briefly-glimpsed abstract pink & white room for Victoria, but there has to be something, somewhere.
