This is what survivorship is all about. Buying yourself time that a new treatment will become available and if/when cancer returns you have a new weapon available to extend your life. While treatment side effects are painful and inconvenient it's what keeps you alive and gives you hope for future treatments.

Cancer drugs that selectively target specific proteins are making a lot of progress recently. KRAS G12C inhibitors have recently been approved and KRAS G12D inhibitors have already been designed and will be in testing soon. That will be a game-changer for cancers with these mutations.

Why the constant wait, they can find a vaccine for covid in a few weeks and start mass injecting the population, No 25 year trials, No waiting just go go go, Phyza admitted No trials were conducted before it sent out and millions of people were exposed to their drug. So while thousands of people die waiting why not give them the choice to try a new treatment? The answer is simple PROFIT there is no profit in making people well, the PROFIT is in keeping them sick and dependent on drugs, the cancer patient is worth on average a 125,000 dollars to the pharmaceutical industry who are making huge PROFITS while people wait and die. We the people are Herded like cattle treated like mushrooms and fleasted like sheep.

Hi Lee! I think you missed a class of medication that this drug (probably) falls into: small molecules/TKI's. These are already widely used as a form of cancer treatment and they (mostly) target proteins, often quite specific to cancer cells. Examples include CDK4/6 inhibitors for breast cancer, ALK inhibitors for lung cancer, PARP inhibitors for BRCA mutated cancers, etc. The side effects can differ widely between the class of medication!

great vid, thanks. Have a couple questions for you Lee. I'm 5+ months into recovery right now and trying like heck to pinpoint a diet that is for HPV-cancer patients but everything i find on yt is broad and general for all cancers (etc. green vege's, lot of fruit, etc.) When I asked my treating doc about ideal foods to eat/avoid, she sort of pushed it off and stated there is really no defined research about specific foods and their effect against HPV. So question 1 is have you had any success finding a resource for this, diet specific details for HPV recovery? 2nd, (and will sound dumb) am i focusing on keeping the HPV from reoccurring (or the cancer from reoccurring) or are they one in the same? I''m beginning to become overwhelmed with all of the vid's and info on YT and confusion is building a bit. (hope this doesn't sound completely dumb at this point.
@theregularguy141
@theregularguy141 8 ай бұрын
Hi kevin, Thanks for the complement! As far as diet goes, the consumption of green vegetables, berries, etc basically anything that is an antioxidant or reduces/prevents inflammation is a healthy start. Research is still ongoing as to how cancer metabolizes food. Although cancer does eagerly suck in sugar (glucose) and seems to really thrive on that. Cutting back on sugar has a lot of other health benefits as well. As far as an HPV diet, I admit i have not found anything specific regarding a diet for HPV prevention. As far as HPV cancer reoccuring, unfortunately we will remain at risk for the rest of our lives. There is no cure for HPV (yet) and no vaccine for those of us over 25. However the search for a cure or "easy" cancer treatment is ongoing. As I said in the AOH1996 Video, I sincerely believe that we are on the cusp of some truly amazing leaps in cancer treatment in the near future. And no, none of this sounds dumb at all. Stay positive! I know this isn’t related to the video but I’m hoping you will read this. Just had my three month check up after treatment. I’m having lymph fluid build up in my neck. I’m worried it will develop into lymphedema. Did you experience this? If so how did you deal with it? I’m scheduled to begin CDT therapy. My nurse navigator tells me not to worry but from what I read online 90% of head and neck cancer survivors develop lymphedema. Combine this with the dry mouth and the possibility of radio necrosis if my teeth start failing as well as fibrosis and I am really starting to feel like the cure is worse than the disease and part of me wishes I had just let the cancer run its course.
@theregularguy141
@theregularguy141 8 ай бұрын
Hi Robert, First, how was your 3 month checkup? I have heard that lymphedema is somewhat common. I didn't have that fluid build up however it seems that while lymphedema is not curable, it is treatable. I would get referred to a lymphologist for treatment ideas. I did and still do have the dry mouth. My constant companion is a 16 oz. bottle of water which I sip from regularly. According to my oncologist, fibrosis is preventable by doing neck exercises, slowly stretching your neck in all directions. This will prevent the muscles from becoming stiff. The dental issue is something that I had no idea about until after treatment. The combination of the large radiation doses and the lack of saliva to "wash" your teeth can lead to dental decay. I have noticed a smaal bit of dental decay and according to my dentist it is a combination of getting older and the cancer treatments. Nothing dramatic, some difference in my front lower teeth. As far as the cure being worse than the disease, I have to disagree and I think the the long term effects will bear me out. I am able to eat or drink anything I want, I no longer have a lump on my tonsil that is angry and red. The immediate treatment has, for now, saved my tongue, larynx, etc. Things are difficult now and will be difficult for almost a year after treatment, but you will get better and a lot of this issues will resolve themselves as they will. The important thing is to stay positive, eat healthy, stay active and live life. Please feel free to keep us updated on your progress! Lee

Hi Taluai, It is undergoing human trials as we speak. The current trial is to determine maximum effective dose, if I understand it correctly. The trial is expected to end in March 2024 with the report to be issued within a couple of weeks. As to why talk about it, I believe that knowledge is strength. Should I or someone else have a recurrence or if someone is diagnosed with cancer in the future then maybe this is a trial or a treatment that can be beneficial. Lee

I agree in part. The small batch testing is in the event that in the real world should something go horribly wrong or it proves to be ineffective, then only a small group of people are put at risk. The people involved in these trials are fully aware of the risks involved with human trials, as they are also aware of the possible benefits. Lee

@@theregularguy141 US medial system is broken and too slow. This is the reason why other countries will leap ahead in Cancer research and drug discovery in next 5-10 years. Countries like India, and China don't have any baggage of the past and can run large trials and push drugs into the market quicker. US will take decades to do the same! Anyone desperately looking for a solution don't have decades....

@theregularguy141 Yeah, that's pretty well my point though is that there's a LOT of people with probably no other options or are against any other options that might want to lets say try the pill by itself if they dont want any chemo or radiation. What I can see happening is that because the study is so small, they'll need even more time to get more data. Too many medical breakthroughs take too many years before they become available. The covid vaccines which I take btw, were fast tracked, and rightfully so. These drugs need to be fast tracked as well, for the people that want them, as long as they know the risks.

This will put a lot of doctors out of business. This will cost drug companies millions. Will they tell us the truth about this drug?

This is only testing for neuroblastoma at this time, however the science seems pretty good that it would be effective on other cancers as well. That being said, there is still a long way to go. Unfortunately due to the complexity of the different types of cancers, there will always be a need for oncologist and continuing research into different cancer fighting tools. Lee

@@JohnFlanagan-hs1fv- I have stage four colon cancer. DX in Feb and started Folfox in April every two weeks. Monoclonal antibody started on fourth treatment. I’m still in treatment with pet scans showing a shrinking cancer, which is in my peritoneal. I had my on home remedy and doing carnivore after DX. My home remedy is Turkey tail mushroom, turmeric, and ivermectin, which I got from a doctor friend of mine. It was time for refill and I ask my oncologist for refill and he said no, or he couldn’t because it was out of protocol🤷. Guess it’s time to call my doctor friend.

Why are we looking for a cure outside of the body. The cure comes from within

While I agree in principle, sometimes the body needs some help in order to fight off a disease.

''''The major finding of our study is that RGE had a novel therapeutic effect against even the most aggressive models of malignancy in mice only when injected. The treated mice did not display any adverse side-effect in terms of behavior and physical appearance from receiving daily injections of RGE. Necropsy also failed to find any abnormality in any organ and tissue of the treated mice either from the malignancies or from the injected RGE. One novel aspect of the injected RGE was its ability to cure the most aggressive mouse cancer models that cannot be cured by any conventional therapy ''' Since then NO CLINICAL TRIALS, despite a100 per cent cure .....
