But the famous singers nowadays aren't that type, look at Maria who won indonesian idol, she isn't as popular as tiara andini and others. The market is different now than the 90s where Ruth sahanaya and friends were thriving.

Niki was born and raised in Indonesia, but she went to international school her whole life hence the perfect English. and then she moved to the US for college and to start her music career. she's based in the US, and in the same label as Brian. She has so many great songs, and one of my all time favorite from her is High School in Jakarta. please do check it out

We, Indonesia, have the same artistic blood as the Philippines. The difference is in culture, if in the Philippines young people often spend their time in karoke, whereas in Indonesia young people will bring guitars to cafes and sing together. When they grow up, Filipinos will have great vocal techniques. while Indonesians will be more skilled at making songs.

She have hundreds awards! she's already in musical business since 1994 when she just 6 years old, releasing kids songs/albums. when she's 12's she also a TV presenter and in early 2000's when she's 15's ,she even play as a lead actress in severals TV drama which is so popular back then (i also watched it as a kid)!! We Indonesians know how ambitious she is and since a kid she keep telling that she wants to be international music artist, so i think in 2013's she finally had a chance to release her new album & collab with well know musician in the US and changed her name to Agnez MO.
