It is not fast paced but the exploration and the creatures and the discovery is all worth it. And it is not like other Survival games. There is a definite ending and again it is all worth it.

There are three rock nodes you can break open in the game to find metals, sandstone, limestone, and shale. Each node produces three random ores. I think Silver is in Sandstone, Copper is in Limestone, and Gold is in Shale. Scan the nodes once each and they will tell you what can be contained in that type. Good luck with the playthrough, the story is actually worth it. If you find any Time Capsules they are sometimes created by other players on their playthroughs and have things useful or not stashed inside... BTW I'm enjoying your content and hope you can ignore the haters and have a fun experience with Subnautica...

With Salt you can preserve the fish you catch and cook so they last longer. You can also scan yourself by holding the F key while using the scanner. Rule of thumb as others mention "scan everything." And the game gets more fun once you build a habitat and start exploring with your own seaglide or seamoth...

your gonna need to grab stalker teeth you will see them drop them when they pick up the titanium. you need the teeth to make reinforced glass. also grab salt and make salted fish they will last way longer. good tip keep your fish in a container before you cook them they wont spoil until you cook them. you will find gold over near the aurora.

You swim slower with your hands full. If you are swimming up for air, put your scanner/knife away.

Yay, more Subnautica. :) I hope you'll do full playthrough, it's such a nice game and not too long. Early game is a bit slow for new players but after you start learning where to find basic stuff and get some necessary gear and base it will pace up nicely. One little tip more, explore at night time too. Some stuff is easier to find at night. :) Oh, and I promise you'll get over the fear of stalkers eventually. :D

Had to laugh when you said you needed a compass because you keep getting lost. To be fair you have a compass in 7D2D and you still get lost 😆 🤣 I've watched several people play Subnatica and it's a great game to watch but I would never play it because it just doesn't seem beginner friendly. But I'm enjoying your playthrough ❤

I got stuck but only in late game. I recall I got it for free on Epic Games. I played it alongside my friend. We compared notes and laughs at the different things we did. I think its a solid indie game, but not something you would play nearly as much as 7 days to die. Probably because it does have an ending.

Before you break the rocks, scan them. It gives you info on what types of rocks contain what types of materials.

If you leave things on the ground they don’t despawn. So you can always make a junk pile early game near your pod till you have storage.

I was looking for this comment lol; I struggled finding the damn things but there they are, floating right in front of her. Daph: the stalkers pick up the wreckage and play with them, but often break their teeth which floats to the ocean floor. These teeth are used for the reinforced glass which is required for a number of things later on. Keep an eye out next time you see stalkers!

Lead, Silver and Gold are in random Sandstone rocks on (outcrop pillars) located at the (red grassy Plateau that drops down) which is a ""little left of the Aurora"". Just keep a ((little bit)) of the Aurora ship on the ""right side"" of your viewing screen as you go out. If you get too close to the Aurora a pop up of "Radiation Detected" will show on your screen. As brandonguilly242 has said below. Building a small base would help and allow you to build bigger storage containers, battery charger. Maybe get the compass build soon to help you get around. Nice ass video! Here is MORE tips:You can find scannables in the boxes in the kelp forest! You need to find some station fragments there! When you scan all of them go to the red grass biome and find seamoth fragments! The seamoth can be built in the station thing. AND when you make a radiation suit you can go to the ship with the seaglide or with the seamoth. You have to go infront of the ship there is a hole made from the explosion! There you can go in the ship! But beware there is an monster you will face alot of times... But if you want to go to the ship equiped you will need to go to the red grass biome! There you need to scan laser cutter fragments! When you make a laser cutter go to the side of the ship and find a cannon fragment. Then go inside the ship and scan the last fragment of the cannon fragment. Then go home and make the cannon and the laser cutter! Then go back to the ship and explore it! There is alot of things like scannables,voice logs you name it! So yeah btw NEVER GO TO THE BACK OF THE SHIP THERE IS FULL OF NIGHTMARES
