Mesa PD might be THE most corrupt police in the entire country. Feds should make an example out of this entire Police Department and the city offcials that enabled their injustices. Why did Mesa rehire Philip Mitchell Brailsford and give him his pension after he blatantly murdered Daniel Shaver? They also allowed fellow murderer Charles Langley to retire and now he is hiding out in the Philippines.

I never knew Mesa was the largest suburb in the country, though I could've guessed as much! The whole Phoenix metro area is absurdly gargantuan. The streets, the shops, and the houses just never end. Cities like Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, etc. all blur together. It's dozens upon dozens of square mile blocks in every direction. You never realize the scale until you drive the entire length of Baseline.

I’m not too sure that the data centers going up near the Eastmark area will actually create a lot of jobs. If they just house servers, relatively few employees are needed to run them. Just FYI Downtown Mesa is full of transient people since it's cheap to get around and many soup kitchens are located on main st, broadway, etc etc, drug exchanges and dangerous Scenarios happen while riding light rail. Since the development of this they've had to place permanent cops around the light rail and police bike systems to be able to keep up. Please be careful and plan things early enough 🙏 not all of mesa is like this I would just say downtown. Once you get to east mesa, and tempe it's more calm, usually college students.
