Whew! Their style/vibe is something I didn’t know I was looking for, it took me a second to check them out but after listening to the 4 songs on repeat I’m kinda hooked! Most of the choices are just slightly left of what I would expect from a gg right now and I’m living for it. It just feels fresh and maybe authentic even. I think you’re right and they might be around for a while!

So @11:15 that girl is the 14 year old maknae of the group. They don’t have positions, but most people are actually considering the three girls in the middle to be the best vocalists in the group, so it’s interesting you guessed it was her!

@@Koko3op the song although great is very middle of the vocal range, so it allows their tones to really shine and I think that’s why she stands out here, her tone is lovely and rich considering her age

@@Koko3op I have a feeling that Hani is going to be considered the main vocalist - ADOR sent Hani and Danielle to the MCD vocal challenge which were filled with main vocals and they had Hani doing the high note in that with two other pretty seasoned main vocals.

One of the things I really like about this group is how chill and natural they are. They feel very nostalgic and they remind me of being in the school yard creating dance routines to the latest songs with my friends.

I'm trying not to be annoying and comment on every newjeans reaction video but watching this now 11 months after, hearing you say about them growing as a group just hits different. I do believe that is their company's plan as they didn't have them train for years like other groups that look like theyre straight out of the kpop idol factory. Their journey in just one year is insane, not just their achievements but their skills as well. I saw Haerin and Hanni's predebut dance videos then watching their Weverse Con performance, they've become beasts, especially ow confident Haerin has become. Although Hyein became introverted a few months after the debut probably bc of the contrerversy around her age, I know they will continue to grow more and become the super stars that they are.

The dance style is pretty loose, after seeing it this way, I'm not sure if I can image it if everybody's angles was all aligned and matching. They def have a more casual vs formal vibe.
