Thank you for the review, I have not read any of the Numenéra game books. I am a huge fan of Cypher System having the core rulebook and The Strange (I have almost all the others in PDF, on my need to read list). I can say that once you get people playing the system it is hard to get them to play anything else. It is just so elegant.

I have been wanting to play this game online for sooooooooo long now. It is one of my all-time favorite settings and games in general.

Yah. I tend to shy away from games with default settings because I REALLY enjoy world-building, but Numenera’s setting is just so cool!

Have the original game in H/C - after watching this review I'm definitely ordering this 'new' one. Amazing review - thanks.

Great review! I've liked Monte Cook's stuff since he went independent in the 3E days. The first PDF I ever bought was his "Book of Eldritch Might." I do agree his writing style is very compelling and makes it fun to read his mechanics. And the designer notes are a great idea! I included them in my supplement I should be publishing soon. The campaign setting sounds interesting, also! Overalll, great stuff, as always!

Very cool! I think the system is really well thought out and intriguing. I GM'd a bit of the Strange years ago. I was disappointed by how the characters ended up mechanically even though the character creation is fun. I've been Numenera curious since the edition on question was coming out. I will give the system another go and the setting is a huge selling point as well.

Played and loved this RPG when it first came out. Love the sci-fi setting inspired by Jack Vance's Dying Earth and Gene Wolf's Book of the Sun. Sold my books because no one wanted to continue playing. Big mistake. I want to try it again but this time solo.

I love those little touches of the 'mini' GM screen and the bookmark with the table of contents! The art looks really great too. Looking forward to hearing all your thoughts on this! -Dan

I love the content of MCGs publications but I don't love the binding. All of my MCG books crack and creak from the heavy glue on the spine. Also the wrap around material of the cover separates from the glued pages on a number of my books. It's a shame because the content is so good.

I asked about the binding. It’s notch case and the base understanding is that it’s stronger than sewn binding. But I think it does make the book more difficult to read in the front and back portions. Thanks for watching!
