It would just be misinformation. I use shrooms to push waves, to fight 1v1, to use on zhonyas/specialty ults similar, and for teamfights. I don't put them on the map it is a waste of time with sweeper. So there's not much of a video to cover this above

I used to have a similar problem - as a start, I would advise to change the R setting to "quick cast with indicator" so you will be able to better see where you place the hitbox each time. It sounds like a small thing, but it does wonders long term. Generally good spots tends to be near corners and close to the walls - because the shortest route A→B tends to make the character walk closer to one of the walls.
