Totally agree, I always get a real sense of space , wide open space for miles, so much beautiful scenery , even though at first glance it looks all rocky. Have you been to the South part of the island much ? What do you prefer? Correlejo or Jandia ?

@@SpaSalesQueen I absolutely adored Cofete: we went last October and the water was warm!! Morro Jable is beautiful too, it felt like going to lake Garda where there are mainly German tourists (just like in Morro Jable😁). Caleta de Fuste is green too and it’s mainly British: the beach is very family friendly there. Another beach I love is the one in El Cotillo (la Concha) with its white sand and accessible waters even with kids. It’s a small island but full of fascination and mystery. I believe it kind of sums up the hidden history of humanity: see the statues of the children looking up to the sky (are they looking at spaceships?) at the roundabout in Morro Jable or the giants on the way to Betancuria (where I’ve seen the most relaxed cats ever!!). Of course it’s not for everyone: you need to love the desert-like wildness of the landscape, which is the most amazing feature for me!! As you well say in the video, finding all this in Europe is terrific!!😉🤗
