I first read A New Model of the Universe as a teen. Now 40 years later I am ready to read Fourth Way and the other works about Gurdjieff. Thank you for all your fantastic teachings on the Orthodox teachings and these related works. I read the Ladder of Divine Ascent every Lent, it seems to have a deep effect on my character and state of being.

Thank you so much! I think many of us would really appreciate a longer lecture on how to practice the 4th way as a Christian. Unfortunately I cannot even say at this point that I am a Christian, my ways are nothing like Christ's, but my deepest desire to become one, what I did not manage to achieve in my over 30 years. I have made no progress, just drifting further away from Christ. I have to admit that I have never made real effort, I was just dreaming about it.

Love the comment about using the very thing in this life that is a obstacle as fuel for inner work. Isn't that the truth.

Recently after rereading Gurdjieff's "meetings with remarkable men," I experienced a profound happiness, Which I seem to get when I read his work; this made me wonder if I needed to study his teachings Reading Beelsebubs tales to his grandson, proved a little too difficult for me, but seems like Theodore has taken some time to distill the truth inside it

Gurdjieff should have been terrible, very hard at his teachings. He refused many students, he could just say "no", and looked at you with those mesmerising eyes. You would never return. Because many people were just curious ones, discoverers of news, looking for entertainment. He wanted real Truth Seekers, and he could define at the moment, who deserved such a knowledge. Now the times are different, we can say " softened " times. Lighter times. We see Yoga, therapies, and on, included in little 4th Way schools. Even people in their 90´s can find some good relaxation process and get a profitable teaching. We can conclude that Gurdjieff , although he spoke " you are lost; I do not know what to do with so much material, and I put you in a total confusion " - his influence and teachings are really wondrous. Thanks for the video, keep on.
