Question: is the Jade there at that market good quality Jade or there some that sell fake Jade and what currency is accepted at the market. My cruise is in about 20 days and we will stop in Tapei...I wanted the opportunity to purchase some Jade. Do you recommend this place or is there another Jade type of market? Please advise and thank you for your time

They range from affordable to very expensive. There are all sorts of jade sold there, some better quality than others. I don’t think there is fake jade, just cheaper varieties. If you’re interested in jade, it’s probably the best place to look. Don’t spend more than you’re comfortable with though unless you have an expert with you.
