Jimin actually flew out to the US to choose this choir, it shows how much he cares about his art. He chose this choir specifically to fit the song. Such a beautiful song. The song was written by Ghstloop, Pdogg, Jimin, and Supreme Boi. Also Rm helped write the song ‘like crazy’.

❣Jimin “Set Me Free Pt.2’, it’s everything & more then I could hope for, Jimin’s amazing artistry, his so beyond spectacular,, so mesmerizing, phenomenal performance! The song, Jimin’s vocals, his dancing, the amazing choreography, also the amazing backup dancers, the lyrics he wrote, the music he composed as well as being involved in the production! Jimin was hands on, involved with every facet! No wonder the in-house legendary producer for BigHit Pdogg, who worked with Jimin throughout the whole album, stated that “in 2023 K-pop will be ended by Park Jimin”! Seeing this made me that much more excited, for the full album, Jimin’s “FACE” released on March 24, along with his main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Jimin’s other songs “Face-Off”, “Alone”, as well as hidden track “Letter” are all equally amazing! Though Jimin’s song ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, blew me away , meeting all my expectations & then some, I was also not totally surprised, because indeed Jimin is now ‘set free’ from the confines of being part of a group, to now be able to open up full throttle and ‘finally’ be able to release all that he held back for so many yrs! Jimin has been involved in every facet of creating this album! Hands on all the way, perfectionist that he is, including writing lyrics, composing, as well as being heavily involved in production! Jimin’s true, real, inner self will be finally seen in all its raw, authentic, amazing, heartfelt, passionate, emotional, sincere glory! This is aside from Jimin’s full range, hardly ever being shown, aside from high notes, but being finally able to show his full registry, mid range as well as lower registry as well! I’ve always been so frustrated not being able to see as well as hear Jimin’s full capacity of talent. So often not being fully taken advantage of, but that comes with being part of a group, that has every single member having so much talent that it’s been so limiting for Jimin, especially him being so selfless, making a point of having others shine before himself. Now the spotlight will be just on him! Though we’ve seen Jimin’s amazingly spectacular, so mesmerizingly outstanding solo performances before. But now, as Jimin himself, mentioned, he’ll indeed be showing the depth of his raw inner self! In the handwritten lyrics notebook that came with his album Jimin drew a tree next to the lyrics of Set Me Free and he wrote rebirth as a keyword next to it. so I think rebirth is actually another key concept that he's trying to express in this song.

Jimin is just like his dance, graceful and elegant but very strong. He's very complex, and that makes him fascinating. He'll always put a smile on his face and bring joy and lightness around him. And then you learn years later that he wasn't doing so well. He said this album was very personal and if you listen to it in the right order: Face off, Interlude, Like Crazy, Alone and finally Set me Free, then you understand the journey. And I find that incredible, because we'll never know exactly what's behind his lyrics, why this depression and what exactly he's trying to free himself from, is it his inner demons, society's norms, the haters...? We won't know, but we can all interpret it differently and appropriate these emotions according to our own experiences. And that's the beauty of art. And Jimin is a true artist.

Jimin has mentioned how angry he was during lockdown. They had worked hard for a world wide tour. Jimin is a performance artist. He performed his beautiful airy dance live. His choice is always to dance live when possible. To have the performance snatched away made him angrier than at any other period of his life.

There is so much symbolism in this, which has been so cool to parse, especially seeing everyone's different takes. Heck, I just realized something new the other day, and I've watched this a bajillion times since it dropped. So much of the choreo is just flat out brilliant. The lift at the end? Lie had the same thing. To me, he finally broke free of the Lie. I honestly gasped and burst into tears when I watched the first time.

That's Jimin, he's really creative with his music. It's what i love about him, like i listen to many artists but i only stan Jimin because he offers more than singing. The anticipation for his album is different from everything else because with him, it's always new and unexpected. Choreographed by Sienna Lalau, Queen of Group Formation. Someone on Popsugar said the Spiral looked like a Panopticon, a Prison where one warden can observe prisoners without being seen. The Walls remind me of HYBE'S Wall of Trophies. I really appreciate the mix of female and male dancers. Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. The longer the better i say. =0] Great MV. Jimin ult here, Suga wrecker OT7. The vocals, wow. The visuals, i had shivers. Powerful for sure. This was 100% new. 0.0 I am like stunned. Shoock really. Go Jimin!!! No one but Anitra @saywhatreacts and Rosan @xCeleste has mentioned he used some aspects of Lie choreo in his new song. And ON vibes for sure. ON inspo. Heard this was the last song in the album. Like dang! 0.0 So glad u loved it. =0} So much symbolism too. So deep. I adored the dance practice! Oh my gosh. Some choreo reminded me of Jackson Wang song called Blow. The more i watch the more i find things i did not notice on the 1st watch. The body tat German poem is beautiful and very fitting. Heard Sienna Lalau worked on this choreo. Not sure if she created alone or with a team though. UCLA choir was used again. They use them all the time on songs. The spiral/ the golden ratio, shell, 9, metaphors used as usual. The moon series of tats on his back is real. His Nevermind tat on his ribs is real and his 13 tat on his wrist is real too. The German poem on his chest tat was temporary. Jimin also has a 7 tat bet. his fingers on one hand. He has young forever tat above his elbows and youth behind his ear. But we did not see these in this MV. But showing his tats is another sign to us and himself that he is free. Like ur theory. Jimin said in an interview that the two songs aren't directly correlated, but that the themes are similar in that Yoongi's is about being trapped while Jimin's is the second stage of actually being "set free" so he named his "Pt. 2" lovedbyyoongi said on 3/17/23 "When the track list for the album was revealed, many noticed that this pre-release single was designed as "Pt.2" despite the fact that Jimin doesn't have any existing songs to his name titled "Set me free". It’s a tragedy that this song did not get the promotion and recognition it deserved! It was (still is) huge but imagine how massive it would’ve been if his label did its job and actually promoted him/this song. I don’t think I’ll ever get over that! This is a masterpiece; Jimin and his team are brilliant - from the concept to the deep purpose behind the lyrics, set design and all the small and big details in between.

One thing is how he feel about ARMY but this suffocation is the turmoil on his life. Let's remember how criticised they were at the beginning for being ugly and in his case even calling him fat and chubby. That got him into depression and anorexia. To one point he had 1 meal in 5 days. The 7 did suffered a lot. It was never an easy way, until know they face so much hate and envy. That's why they need ARMY to have them back.
