@6:10 its not a bug, when the pumps are unmanned, the pumps push out a single free tile

I remember discovering the same secret when I played Amevians for the first time since you have to play in the desert. That's why using "restrictive" rulesets can sometimes force you out of your comfort zone and you end up enjoying the game more. Thanks for the video.

might do another Amevian Eromanga, Australia run after finding this stuff out, haha

No worries mate, thanks again for your support a while back. I didn't get to use it for what I initially intended but it went to my share of the internet bill, so my parents are certainly happier for it XD

man i hate the waterpump system. have you ever been in a dry land close to a river and seen a goddamn waterpump? now they just dig canals and divert the water.
@ManCheat22 ай бұрын
I think that babylon used pumps near rivers to their irrigation canals
@OilUp20242 ай бұрын
@@ManCheat2 goddamn Babylon. They ruin everything!

I also miss the old water system of being able to summon water from nothingness as long as there was enough water table, it gave a lot of freedom in making moats and such
@PerfectDeath42 ай бұрын
Generally I channel water from those wet spots along the river and fill in to create a sort of grid of pumpless irrigation along the river. If I want to irrigate a non river area it would be due to a very high fertility bonus and/or for pastures. Services that need water also.

So i know you can upgrade the pump to get more range out of it but it there a way to have a pump that is inland to boost the range even further? Otherwise you're limited to being within 100 tiles of your water source
@OshanMan2 ай бұрын
Upgrading pumps does not increase range, it increases worker efficiency. The way to increase range is to connect to water pumps together :)

so isn't 12 spacing the best?
@OshanMan2 ай бұрын
8 spacing is definitely bad, but you could argue either way for the 12 or 16 tile gap. I would probably do 12 tile for the first farm then switch to 16 when I had the workforce to cover the increased area and employment requirements.
