omg i shouldve literally made predictions for what you were gonna say after hearing this song bc i KNEWWWW LOL -dance was tight but ofc it was -i liked the same exact part in the verse. idk how to describe that type of sound in the music but whenever a song has a part like that it's extra points! i liked the production a lot too (i wonder if woozi is involved at all? idk svt was shown in the longer version of their vid tho which is the real one i think) -i knew you wouldn't be a fan of the chorus and neither am i 😭repetitive choruses bug me so bad but i'll sometimes let them slide if the double chorus is strong and this didnt do it for me :/ even if they didnt include extreme vocals i wish they couldve made up for it w a more interesting chorus/musicality overall in the song. idk i guess i'll wait until their official debut but this pissed me off a bit bc in general i understand saving what's most impressive or largely marketable for the actual debut but if this is people's first impression of the group surely there was another b-side they couldve used..? or just scrapped it come on they're svt's jr group and a part of hybe idk i dont think they'd flop if they skipped a pre-release song -im VERY curious for what their sound as a group will be. off the top of my head i think groups like xikers and boynextdoor have a very quickly recognizeable style but this song doesn't necessarily land anywhere specific for me, kinda reminds me of riize atm idk i'm waiting for them to find their sound -in the mv i dont think anyone stuck out to me much but like eye said as a die-hard carat w svt as my ults i'll do them a service and give them another chance when their debut rolls around even tho im deathly afraid of what that title may sound like lol all that aside did you hear abt the new survival show for vocalists? it's called build up, jay chang from boys planet is gonna be on it as well as some members from cix, ab6ix, ace, etc. lol i feel like they finally heard your pleas for boys w vocal talent 😭 it does make me curious what the final group's sound would be like though, i hope it doesn't go a ballad route or smth like i need them to prove that the new gen can deliver vocals and interesting music at the same time. i dont feel a particular urge to watch it as of now but if you decide to or my roommates want to i may reconsider hehe

...what a disappointing chorus. There were some interesting moments. I'm optimistic, but not too much. Since this is a Pledis group, there's a 50/50 chance for Pledis to ruin everything, unless they produce their own music like Seventeen and Nu'est. I'm still pissed about Pristin, and I'm praying for Fromis_9
