Yes, YU grupa was founded in 1970. Grey hair guitar/singer is now 77 years, and his brother on the bass is 82 years, and still rocking. Great band to listen.

There was a story from 70's regarding Dragi Jelić, the guitarist and leader of YU Grupa. They went to London to buy instruments, and he tried some guitars in one guitar shop. He was noticed and heard by Marc Bolan secretary, and he was offered to join T-Rex. But he refused politely, saying that he had a band in Yugoslavia, and he was very satisfied with the band. What to say, a big self-respect!
